“Honestly, so noisy.” Rocks shook his hand, as if he had merely swatted a fly.
Gatz, Silvers, and Dolum were already used to this sight; their Captain was an unreasonable monster to begin with.
Renn, however, knelt down and carefully examined the Tyrannosaurus’s corpse, then shook his head: “What a pity, with a punch like that from you, Captain, the brain and the most essential spinal cord meat are shattered; the integrity of the ingredient is destroyed.”
Rocks’ mouth twitched at that, and he actually showed a rare hint of embarrassment, scratching his head: “I’ll be more careful next time, hitting its butt will do, right?”
Under Renn’s precise guidance, they soon arrived at an open, rocky area.
The Rocks here were a strange dark red, radiating a slight warmth.
The air was filled with a mix of sulfur and metal scents.
“This is it.” Renn pointed to a huge, cave-like nest ahead.
From deep within the cave, came heavy chewing sounds and low growls.
“Are you ready?” Rocks’ eyes gleamed with excitement: “Let’s see what this big fellow, that our Head Chef can’t stop thinking about, is capable of.”
The group silently approached the cave entrance and peered inside.
Inside the cave, a giant beast the size of a small truck was facing away from them, repeatedly ramming its large, keratin-covered head against the cave wall, shattering the hard rock, then chewing on the crushed minerals with relish.
It was the Rockhorn Triceratops.
On its back were three rows of massive bony blades, extending from its neck to its tail, gleaming with a metallic luster.
The three thick, sharp horns on its head were incredibly ferocious, as if they could easily pierce steel.
Just then, the Rockhorn Triceratops seemed to sense something and abruptly turned around.
Its dark yellow vertical pupils instantly locked onto Rocks and his group at the cave entrance.
