169 Unlocking New Classes Part 1

Eventually, we both spent till the night had fallen before and finally made it back to our homes.
I lay down on my bed, my mind racing with all that had transpired, the victories, the rewards, and the treasures I had gained.
My heart thundered in my chest as I contemplated what I’d come away with.
The overwhelming emotion of joy was uncontainable even if someone else had witnessed it.
Indeed, there was good reason for feeling ecstatic – My modded class skills had increased the amount of rewards I’d obtained by more than 6 times! Where before I would’ve received just 1 Selection Unique Class Ticket, now imagine how many I had acquired thanks to my broken powers. 𝘳𝑎.𝒸ℴ
The rewards from this quest alone were outrageous!

Gazing upon these priceless feats of humanity, I still couldn’t believe that they were all mine.
It was like looking into an alternate timeline, and my disbelief would not be quashed until I saw it with my own eyes.
Who on Earth could possess more than a hundred of these mysterious cubes?
There wasn’t anyone else who had achieved such a feat. Moreover, with 120 Skill Upgrade Runes and 45 Mythic Skill Books, I had no concept of what I would become.
I felt like I was already broken beyond repair, yet here I stood, having transcended the normal definition of ‘overpowered’. Though being reminded of my future foes, I did not let myself become overconfident; nevertheless, this immense amount of treasure certainly brought me one step closer to achieving their level of strength.
All I can say is that whatever power my future enemies wielded was beyond ‘broken’; it was something far more complex and powerful—something with an altogether different name, ‘Restriction’.
I was dumbfounded and perplexed.
I had no idea where to start my quest of selecting Unique Class Selection Tickets.
It felt as if I were collecting pebbles on the side of a road, something I would have never thought possible.
Consequently, this had already brought about a great reduction in the duration of my travels. Also, possession of the selection skill mythic ticket had even skilfully eliminated certain segments of my initial plans, including the nine tickets for Bloodline Selection Mythic, which I hadn’t predicted at all. Granted my goals weren’t being met as per my expectations, but the whole process was yielding remarkable outcomes which left me speechless and baffled.
As such, I found myself at square one again with no clue on how should I proceed further. .
Should I start with Class Tickets since I had all the necessities necessary to obtain them?
The maximum classes that I could have was 9 and 3 of those slots had already been filled, so I could use 6 more.
With the amount of tickets that I have, there’s no point in keeping them…wait a minute! How come I hadn’t thought about ‘Class!’ before?
How come it had escaped my mind!?
My heart sank at the thought of not having enough class, then suddenly, I remembered a certain class that would be incredibly useful in this situation; it was one of the worst classes ever.
I never considered obtaining it because it was useless and ineffective, but now, with the treasures that I had acquired, it was more than enough.
My palms were sweating as I clutched the ticket in my hand, a token that was promised to be my saving grace.
I nervously tapped it on the virtual reader and with an electronic ping, a menu of classes loaded onto the screen before me.
I was overwhelmed at first, scrolling through the long list for what seemed like an eternity.
My eyes scanned over class titles, descriptions, and dates; anything that sounded interesting I made sure to take note of.
All too soon though, my hour was up and I still hadn’t found the class I was looking for.
Growing increasingly frustrated and desperate, I kept scrolling until finally – there it was!
The perfect one.
There it was, the 4th Class that I would obtain.

Without a moment of doubt, I eagerly responded and the ticket suddenly vanished from my grasp.
I had been successful, this 4th class ticket was now mine.
A wave of relief washed over me as I realized that I was finally able to board the train for my next adventure.

There it was, the 4th Class, the Limitless Avatar.
At last, we had arrived. It was the infamous 4th Class, the Limitless Avatar.
Out of all the Classes our world had created, the Limitless Avatar was arguably the worst of them all.
Instead of bestowing upon its bearer legendary powers and abilities as most Classes did, it was simply able to duplicate one’s own status- not by boosting stats or copying skills, but by creating an entirely new reset status with no classes and level 1.
Even so, this didn’t seem too appealing at first glance; however, there was a hidden truth behind this seemingly pointless ability.
The Limitless Avatar is similar to a multi-account where the player could form another level 1 account.
It was more of creating yet another empty shell of a status that was derived from its original version.
It would have been much more efficient and advantageous if the player could have utilized his class or skills to enhance and upgrade his new, Limitless Avatar.
Yet unfortunately, the class didn’t allow for that kind of action; instead, the only thing the player could do was to switch between his original and duplicated avatar.
Since such a talent didn’t grant any additional benefits, nobody saw any reason for wasting one of their slots on this ability.
Surprisingly though, this class ended up becoming my most powerful weapon – owing to two crucial factors for it.
At first, I discovered that I had 10 more blank slots for additional classes.
Any duplicated avatar wouldn’t be restricted and it could provide me with the most valuable resources.
But soon, I became aware of a shortcoming; whatever my characters have already earned through their original statuses such as bloodlines, abilities and proficiencies wouldn’t transfer over to the avatar statuses.
Despite this limitation, which would cause a temporary loss in certain aspects, I still viewed the feature with immense optimism since it would provide me with an opportunity to gain rare treasures, equipments and items.
With the fourth class slot unlocked, my natural apprehension and doubts dissipated.
I knew that if it came down to it, I would have to default back to my original class, so I decided I should select something that was incredibly powerful.
After hours of searching through the ancient texts, I finally settled on the classes from a bygone era, one that had been chronicled in folklore throughout centuries.
A selection so strong, it could take Earth or Modern Fantasia into a living nightmare.
And now those legendary classes were at my fingertips.

My heart raced with anticipation as I watched these prestigious classes slowly but surely aligning within my reach, almost as if they were meant for me all along.
I could hardly believe my eyes, in an alternate reality I would have never imagined myself owning any of these unique classes and yet here I was feeling like a king obtaining them.
My pulse quickened at the thought that I may become their owner.
My heart pounded in my chest as I gazed upon the countless avatars before me, a great variety that seemed to span infinitely.
Mystic magicians, steel-clad warriors, shadow knights, and more – almost all of them unknown, untested, and powerful beyond imagination.
It was hard to decide which ones to choose for the ten classes I was allowed to fill up.
But what luck! I would not have to put in so much effort to reach level 900 and unlock even more slots.
Should this be seen as a blessing from the gods?
Nonetheless, I wasn’t going to let such an opportunity slip away.
With newfound excitement, I proceeded to choose my own band of champions.
