Background: The Hongwu Emperor wanted to riddle Liu Bowen: “What is inside this bowl?” And Liu Bowen gave this vague response that the emperor apparently really liked and thought was clever. Golden dragon represents the emperor. As for what was inside the bowl, it is said to be a sesame cookie.
