The sound of sword piercing through flesh echoed. Baili Hongzhuang lifted her left foot, directly kicking the hell wolf’s corpse at another hell wolf.
Slam! Thump! Bang!
The hell wolves advanced dauntlessly in waves after waves, continuing to throw themselves at her. Baili Hongzhuang’s figure was like the wind. Her expression was calm and steady; from beginning to end, she never exposed the slightest trace of panic.
As the family head of a famous clan, there was no counting how many bad situations she’d been in. It was only natural that she didn’t feel any fear.
An enchanting, scarlet flower bloomed on her white robes. The hell wolf’s claw streaked across, leaving behind a bloody scar.
But Baili Hongzhuang seemed to feel no pain, the wound not affecting her movements at all.
Every move was fast and accurate. The hell wolves fell down one after another.
After seeing so many of their comrades being killed by Baili Hongzhuang, the other hell wolves no longer dared to step forward. This was instinctual fear.
Lu Huaiyan and Fuhong Bo couldn’t say a word as they watched. Baili Hongzhuang’s performance had shocked them too much.
They had also gone through this test, but their results couldn’t even begin to be compared to Baili Hongzhuang’s.
From those firm and farsighted eyes, they could finally see a ripe spirit.
“This girl is very calm.” Lu Huaiyan’s face was filled with emotions.
It was impossible for them to do this at Baili Hongzhuang’s age.
They had even made preparations in case something happened. But now, it didn’t seem like they need to do anything.
“Her mental strength is almost terrifying!”
Fuhong Bo’s eyes shined brightly. He never thought that the one they didn’t care for the most, Baili Hongzhuang, would actually be the biggest harvest of this trip.
“No matter what, make sure to place her into the quota.”
Lu Huaiyan was sure that her future was limitless. This little Feng Bo country would not be her stage.
Fuhong Bo nodded in agreement, a bright, satisfied smile on his face.
While the two people were talking, Baili Hongzhuang looked suspiciously in their direction as she cut down more hell wolves. Her eyes, deep like ancient wells flashed with cold light.
Lu Huaiyan was startled, a trace of shock appearing in his eyes, “This girl shouldn’t be able to see us, right?”
With their cultivation, as long as they wanted to hide, nobody could find them. But Baili Hongzhuang had clearly just looked at them……
“Impossible. It was probably just a coincidence.” Fuhong Bo said slowly. Even so, his eyes couldn’t help but flash with a trace of doubt.
He had also felt Baili Hongzhuang’s stare as if somebody really had seen them. But Baili Hongzhuang was only an early staged mysterious eon cultivator, it was impossible for her spirit force to find them.
The two stopped suspecting her. If Baili Hongzhuang really was able to see then, that’d just be too frightening.
While Baili Hongzhuang was dealing with the hell wolves, many of the cultivators who heard the howls curiously came to watch.
The prize for first place was just too tempting. The wolf howls became the focus of everyone’s attention. The storm wolf might’ve appeared!
But when everyone arrived and saw the pack of hell wolves, their faces all turned pale, at once preparing to run away.
If a hell wolf found them, once they were surrounded, they’d truly be dying without even an intact corpse!
But just as everyone started to leave, somebody suddenly shouted, “Somebody’s inside the hell wolves!”
Hearing the shout, everybody’s footsteps couldn’t help but stop. They grew a little curious. Who was the unlucky egg that got surrounded by a pack of hell wolves?
“Quickly, look! The one inside is Baili Hongzhaung!”
Everybody became completely astonished, one after another jumping up trees to look at the situation in the pack of wolves.
Shao Zifan and Zhao Yunqian also came. Hearing that it was Baili Hongzhuang, the two looked at each other with alarm.
“This time, Baili Hongzhuang’s seriously screwed. Now she’s destined to become the hell wolves’ food.”
Everybody sighed with sorrow. Baili Hongzhuang was too arrogant, and now she can only fall in the royal family’s hunting competition.
But when everybody climbed on the trees to see the hell wolves surround her, their eyes couldn’t help but turn huge. They just couldn’t believe the scene in front of them.
