BAM!
A group of masked men suddenly got down from a white van and rushed towards Amanda's home, and burst through the inside, through the now destroyed front door, and the people inside were shocked, but they immediately came into their senses, and pulled out their guns and pointed it towards the intruders.
"Put down your weapons!"
"Now!"
The masked men were all dumbfounded as they didn't expect that there would be armed people inside the house!
One of the armed men is an off duty police officer, and a good friend of Amanda, who came over for a visit.
And a redhead woman, who's armed with a Desert Eagle in her hand, an army officer who's currently in her vacation and just happened to visit Amanda at the same time as the police officer.
And two more guys who are Jenny's personal bodyguards that she assigned to Amanda!
'Shit!'
All of the armed masked men cursed inside, and blamed themselves for being stupid and not even trying to scout their targets before moving in, and now they're trapped in a complicated situation!
Of course, that doesn't mean that they were helpless, as they also have guns in their hands, but they were in a disadvantageous position when they came in bursting through the front door, because three of them are only facing the people on Amanda's side, while the other two are stuck behind them and can't move, as any little movement they do would get them an early present for christmas, a hail of bullets!
If Michael was here, then he would have recognized the lion head insignia on their weapons, that suggest that they were part of a small hitman organization called..Blood Lion.
Blood Lion, as suggested is a small hitman organization, who also have hands in human trafficking, gunrunning and even illegal drugs, which would immediately sentence someone a death penalty if found in the possession of it no matter who they are in the society, be it a powerful businessman, a CEO of a company, and even a president of a country is not an exemption.
If there were a list of hundred ways to die, then illegal drug trade would only be second to human trafficking and just above the crime of murder.
As human trafficking and illegal drug trade allows police officers or another govermental force to open fire to the suspects, and report later, unlike a murderer who still has a little bit of human dignigty left and wouldn't get an automatic kill on sight order.
And this is the reason why cities and towns around the world are free of illegal drugs, and probably the exemption are for those places who are truly isolated, with little to no police influence.
In addition to their new police equipment that could now detect any substances added into the making of illegal drugs which is even better than dogs...making their countermeasure against it practically has no loopholes now, unless the officials were bribed to begin with.
"We'll give you three seconds to put down your weapons or else.."
The redhead woman didn't finish it as she certainly knows that they could understand the message she's trying to convey towards them.
But the masked men didn't even bother listening to her, as they just remained in their position and kept on eye towards the movement of the other party.
But suddenly, one of the masked behind slowly pulled his hand that was holding his gun slowly towards Amanda's group, but redhead army officer had keen eyes and immediately noticed it!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Both sides immediately exchanged fire, with Amanda's group being the first one to open fire, and the people on her side looks like they were in sync as they immediately ducked for cover the moment they opened fire towards the intruders, and Amanda on the other hand immediately immediately jumped for cover, as she laid down behind her kitchen countertop made from quartz, along with the two officers..
While one of the two bodyguards hid behind a stone column or pillar, while the other one jumped inside the nearby room, just beside the living room.
And both sides started exchanging fire, destroying the furniture inside the house, and the commotion immediately attracted Amanda's neighbors as they took cover inside their homes and called the police, while the children hid inside their rooms, trembling in fear.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The bodyguard who was hiding behind a stone pillar exchange a look with his other comrade, and they both nodded with understanding.
So bodyguard who was behind the pillar immediately jumped sideways, and while in mid air, he continuously shot at the direction of the intruders, while his other comrade gave him cover fire.
The bodyguard landed on the ground, rolled and made a dash towards the room where his other brother is while under a hail of bullets, and unfortunately, his left shoulder got shot and started bleeding the moment that he was just about to pass through the doorway of the room.
And so the injured guard immediately started taking care of his wounds the moment he got inside, as he tried to stop the bleeding using a clean cloth he got from a nearby cabinet.
The redhead woman, the off duty police officer, and the uninjured guard came out of their hiding places at the same time, and shot towards the direction of the intruders, and simultaneously killed three of them, while the army officer managed to injure another one of the intruders before the three of them quickly took cover, resulting in the intruders missing their targets.
"Dammit! Retreat, now!"
"What about the others!?"
"Leave them! They are already dead! The police will be here soon! This is mission failed, our lives are more important!"
"Dammit! They would surely connect them to us after this!"
"We don't have any choice!"
One of the masked men who was hiding just outside the doorway yelled towards his other comrade who is injured but still alive, and so both men immediately pulled out of there, and tried to escape towards their van, while Amanda's group chased after them and tried to kill them to no avail, as the two remaining masked intruders managed to escape through their vehicle, and with the police sirens just behind them, and two police vehicles who just turned from a corner managed to spot the escaping van and quickly gave chase.
