"I heard that bastard had caused trouble again, father?"
Suddenly, a man with glasses entered through the front door and said those words coldly.
The senator's gloomy face suddenly brightened with happiness when he saw the youth coming in, while his wife wore a dark look on her face like she had just met an enemy.
"Bastard? Aren't you the bastard here?" the woman sneered, as she bumped her shoulders on the young man before making her way out of the door.
The young man just lowered his head, while his pair of eyes flashed with a cold glint. If Michael was here, then he would certainly smell the scent of someone who had killed around the young man.
"Alexis! Don't mind her! You're finally home!" Mike walked over to the young man and gave him a quick hug.
"I'm okay. I'm already used to it"
Alexis hugged his father back.
"So, how's your business lately? I heard that you were able to make friends with the third young master of Roshild Family" asked Mike, as he really feels proud about this son of his.
"Yes, my jewelry business is doing well lately father, and I only managed to make friends with James during a c.o.c.ktail party three nights ago"
Alexis said those words looking really proud. After all, he is more successful in life compared to his bastardy older brother who fools around all day.
In fact, Michael would probably even respect this guy because he wasn't the least bit tainted by his family's obnoxious behavior.
Even calling Alexis a "good person" among his family wouldn't be an exaggeration with how corrupted his family's personalities are, at least his actions wouldn't go past the bottom line of raping someone just because he couldn't get a girl to like him, very much unlike his older brother, Jin.
Who is the personification of an evil person, he would probably even outrank some of the infamous seventy two demons of solomon from how many sins he has committed.
"Anyway, I heard that Jin caused some trouble in Central City. Didn't he know that place has very strict laws? The local police there would probably even dare to detain someone from Roshild or Arcana families if they caused trouble there, much less Jin who only knows how to cause trouble for you"
"Yes, your brother is being charged with kidnapping from your cousin...Amanda"
Mike said, and his expression clearly darkened when he mentioned Amanda's name.
"Amanda? She's hiding in Central?"
Alexis feigned in surprise, he actually knew that Amanda was hiding in Central. It was because he was the one who helped her escape from the pursuit of his father's men a few years back.
Alexis actually doesn't like his family, it was because they were the reason his late mother died during his juvenile years.
He alone managed to build up his own jewelry business who already had ten branches throughout the country without his father's help.
He might not be a good person, but at least he still has his own principles that he strictly adheres, and he's even one of the youngest successful entrepreneurs in the world.
'This bastards, they are truly greedy that they are even trying to get Amanda's inheritance from her late parents'
Alexis thought in disgust. He wasn't fond of any of them. He just knew how to hide his expressions from them that they didn't even know that he thoroughly hates them to the core.
In fact, his desire to kill them all doesn't lose out to Micheal at all. He just couldn't do anything for the time being because this mansion and his family members are all under watch twenty-four seven from the people that his father had hired, who are members from the infamous organization, The Continental.

Alexis lowered his head to hide his face that's burning with disgust and hatred.

Michael is currently making his way over to the nearest bus stop, when he suddenly received a message from Jenny.
[Jin's lawyer just came over]
Jenny said in the message.
[What did he say?] Michael replied.
Ding~
Jenny: [He wants Amanda to withdraw her charges against Jin]
Michael: [Then tell him to f*ck off, and that this place isn't Bashington City]
Jenny: [Amanda just did, that lawyer called Jackson had just left without saying a word]
Michael: [Good, just ignore them. They can't do shit in this city]
Jenny: [I know, it's not like we're just ordinary civilians]
Michael: [Just take care of yourselves. They won't do anything on the surface, but they would surely do something behind the shadows. So watch yourselves, and let me take care of this mess]
Jenny: [This is Amanda! Don't do something stupid! I can take care of this myself!]
Then Michael just ignored that message and pocketed his phone, and oblivious from the stares of the people around him as he walks past them.
'That night where Jin harassed Amanda certainly wouldn't happen tonight, and I didn't hear anything about this event and Jin getting arrested back then. Is this the so called butterfly effect?'
'Everything from now on won't be the same'
'Hmmp! It's not like the future history is still the same the moment Genesis and the others started living here' Michael scoffed.

"That a**hole isn't replying to my message!"
Amanda angrily stared at the phone in her hands, and at the same time, she still can't forget the scene of them kissing in her head which just infuriates her more.
"Hey! That's my phone! Don't just f*cking throw it!"
Jenny hurriedly said when she saw her best friend who was just about to throw her phone towards the wall.

"Ahh! My phone! Amanda, I will kill you!"
