"Careful! That's its [Howl of the Chieftain]! It's reinforcement are coming! Brace yourselves!"
Suddenly, a magic circle appeared behind the Kobold Chieftain, as six Kobold Raiders appeared, where they immediately rushed towards Mad Snail and Jack!
"Good! There's only six of them this time!" Sylla yelled in joy, because from their previous dungeon run, they got unlucky for the boss to actually summoned ten of its minions and three of those were wizards and the rest were Kobold Raiders, it resulted in them getting wiped out just after they managed to kill two Kobold Raiders!
"Tempest, I-" Rory turned to Amanda hastily and when she was about to tell her to take care of the boss's minions, an arrow suddenly whipped past her and struck a Kobold that was about to attack Jack from behind him.
"You guys take care of its minions! I'll crowd control the boss!" Amanda said, as she whiffed passed them, and she continued shooting the boss while running towards it.
"W-what!? D-!" Rory was about to stop her, but when she turned her attention to the boss, she was momentarily shocked by what she saw.
Jack then immediately disengaged from the boss, and the aggro automatically fell to Amanda, who was dealing the most damage.
As Jack was only able to aggro the boss because of his skills that's specially for kiting monsters.
The Kobold Chieftain sent a slash towards Amanda when she got within the boss attacking range, but she just ducked down as the saber went passed over her head, as she barely dodged the boss's attack within a hair's breadth!
"Hmmp!" Amanda snorted, as she rolled to the side and immediately got up, as she started running around the Kobold Chieftain, while shooting her arrows towards the boss!
The boss was suddenly confused as it didn't know where to attack, as it kept spinning around as it tried to catch Amanda.
Unfortunately, it wasn't intelligent enough, as an animation of being dizzy appeared around its head as it suddenly fell into a confusion debuff!
And at the same time, the others were just finished with the last minion, as they immediately bombarded the boss with their attacks!

A few minutes later.
Awooo~!
The Kobold Chieftain bellowed an anguished cry as it died and fell on the ground, it then burst into light, as it drops were immediately scattered onto the floor.
""We did it!""
Even Rory cheered with them, as they finally defeated this huge obstacle.
Then message appeared in front of them, telling them about their achievement of successfully defeating the boss!

"No!" Rory didn't even hesitate as she immediately pressed the button for "No'.
Then a system announcement rang throughout the entire game world!

Amanda and the others received five hundred points in the city reputation.
"So its not first clear but instead first kill on the boss" Rory said, as she found the concept of the game really interesting, as it certainly doesn't follow the traditional game concept that was adopted from the early RPG games, which the other virtual games certainly followed!
"I'll take these" Amanda said as she bent over and picked up a headgear for a huntress.
It has a simple design, it was just a headband, with a natural wavy lines on the leather and along with one blue and red feathers attached to it.
"Don't forget to send me the payment!" Amanda reminded Rory, as she just up and left the party, and disappeared under the dumbfounded gazes of her former teammates!
"What the!? Leaving just like that!? How arrogant she is!" Jack finally exploded once more.
Rory just smiled bitterly as she shook her head and sent her payment to Amanda.
After that, she organized the loot and gave the items that her teammates needed as their rewards, while she took all of the remaining items for safe keeping.

"Good!" Amanda said as she smiled happily, her face now very cheerful like who had just received a huge Christmas gift, in opposite contrast to her stern expressionless look earlier.
But the that truly made her happy is that she had leveled up earlier when they slayed the dungeon boss!
If Michael was here and saw her level by now, his jaw would probably dropped on the floor, knowing that she's actually better than him grinding levels!
Amanda immediately assigned all of her free attributes to her Agility, increasing it with five more points, while she her only skill point to her [Frost Arrow].
Where a message window suddenly appeared in front of her.

Adds a freezing effect to your attacks, slowing enemy movement within 20 yards from the target, reducing 17% of their movement speed. Lasts 2 seconds.

"Hmm? The mana cost and cooldown increased? Is it because it went beyond Level 5?" Amanda was surprised and a bit sad at the same time, it was because she would've not leveled it up if she knew this would happen!
"At least the effect and duration increased!" But she felt it was worth it, because a split second delay during a fight would affect a battle a lot, could even break an enemy's battle rhythm!
