“Brother, thank you for just now!” When he entered the dormitory, Wang Ye was patted on the shoulder. It was Wan Baojiang who had also done 300 push-ups.
In fact, this guy was very tough today, even though he seemed to have been punished badly.
But in fact, the others had also made 200.
Well… Most of the people in Class Five had only done 150.

As Deng Hai entered the dormitory, Wang Ye and Wan Baojiang greeted him warmly.

Wang Ye nodded in agreement, grateful to have such understanding classmates.
As they walked towards their beds, one of the classmates couldn’t help but curse, “Fuck, if we had to do a couple dozen more, I doubt I could even get into bed now!” He climbed into bed, ready to go back to sleep, even though he wasn’t even sleepy. However, it was still dark outside, and it wasn’t even five o’clock yet.
Wang Ye suggested, “Hey, why doesn’t everyone sit down first? The class monitor hasn’t come up yet, so let’s not go to bed yet.”
He felt that the day was not over yet. Although they had been through a lot, Ye Sanshi had not arrived yet. If he came later and saw that everyone had already laid down without waiting for him, it could cause even more trouble.

Meanwhile, one of the seasoned soldiers was leading a group of recruits toward the field. He had only arrived yesterday and didn’t even know where the field was, so he had to show them the way. The other two had gone with the instructor to chase after Zhang Han.
The rest of the veterans had deliberately stayed downstairs for a while, creating the opportunity for them to go up and throw their weight around again.
This had already become a routine, and it was a training plan that had been formulated long ago. The new recruits showing their might was not a one-time event; they would be subjected to a taming process over the next three months.
Soon, a group of veterans went upstairs together. Not long after, reprimanding voices could be heard coming from the different dormitories.
“What are you doing? Who told you to lie on the bed?”
“Did I say you could sleep? Get down here.”

The noise from outside could be heard faintly in Class 5’s dormitory. The other recruits couldn’t help but look at Wang Ye. If Ye Sanshi wasn’t present, they would have thanked him. If it weren’t for Wang Ye’s reminder earlier, they would be facing Ye Sanshi’s scolding like the other classes.
“Mm, not bad. You knew to wait for me!” Ye Sanshi was a little surprised.

“Watch carefully. I’ll only show you once,” Ye Sanshi said as he began folding the blanket. He first adjusted the blanket and pressed it flat with his hands. His movements were slow, and he spoke as he worked.

In just over a minute, the blanket was folded into a square, resembling a piece of tofu. But Ye Sanshi’s job wasn’t finished yet. He used his hands to smooth out any wrinkles and a card to trim the corners of the blanket.
“Clear?” he exclaimed.
“Yes, yes,” the recruits responded in unison.
“Class monitor, you’re amazing. This is the most beautiful quilt I’ve ever seen in my life,” one recruit praised.
“Indeed, it’s like a piece of art. If my blanket was like this, I wouldn’t have the heart to cover it!” another added.
Despite their lingering resentment towards Ye Sanshi, everyone couldn’t help but praise his work. The folded blanket was impressive – squarish, with sharp edges and corners, like a brick.
Wang Ye was a little absent-minded and didn’t join in the praise. The moment Ye Sanshi finished folding the blanket, a message appeared in Wang Ye’s mind. “The host has received a veteran’s teaching on how to fold a quilt. Experience points +5. The host’s quilt folding skill level has increased by one.”
In an instant, Wang Ye gained a better understanding of how to fold a military blanket, as some of the experience had fused into his mind.
