“It seems you two are getting along well.”
“Grandpa, this is?”
“This is the cloak that only a Child of Nature can wear after awakening in the family. No one has worn it for a hundred years.”
Seraphiel had intended to tease him, but seeing the cloak’s collar stand up again and “stare” at him, he decided to respect this family antique.
“Don’t worry, it cleans itself every day.”
Shar, however, was not concerned about whether the cloak was clean, but rather surprised by his own awakening.
According to family records, an ordinary awakening could only awaken one to two elements, with excellent individuals awakening two to three.
The standard for a Child of Nature was to awaken at least five elemental powers. He had silently counted when he was struck by lightning just now: wind, thunder, fire, earth, wood, water—a full six elements. It seemed the suffering he endured was not in vain.
