Chapter 170: Inviting Gods (2)
Xiang Lv said to Bu Qi in whispers, “What on earth is master shifu doing? Why are there so much fruit on the table, and chicken and incense burner?”
“He should be performing arts, quite similar with the Taoist in Xijing Prefecture.” Bu Qi then said in an admiring tone, “Master shifu even knows Taoist arts!”
Everybody was watching at Rong Yi who waved his sword, burnt incense, cast spells and offered blood and even took way of steps they had never seen before with their jaws dropped.
Suddenly a strong wind arouse, making the woods and flowers and grass in the yard rustling.
Xiang Lv pointed into the sky, “Senior brother, look!”
Six golden lights fell from the sky, two into the stone lions, two into the God of Door at the gate, and two into the golden dragon and golden phoenix on the pillars on both sides of the gate.
Everybody in the yard looked out of the door, mouths wide open.
Rong Yi then put away his golden sword, breathed a sigh of relief, and then took up three burning incenses and bowed to the front, “Thank you all gods to protect my mansion.”
Then he asked everyone in the yard to bow toward outside holding incenses in their hands, and then asked Wen Chuan to offer fruit and pastries to those gods on the first day, fifteenth day and all holidays and New Year.
Everyone dare not delayed one more second and quickly inserted the burning incenses in their hands into the censer.
Rong Yi curled up his lips, “If Qi Lan wants to come, he has to ask gods whether they agree or not.”
If someone tried to break in, the God of Door would stop him. And even if he passed it, without the guidance of people in the mansion, one would be trapped in the formation in the yard, unless someone went to release him, otherwise he had to stay in it forever.
After listening to his words, Yin Jinye who was standing next to him looked out of the door and then turned to the formation in the yard, thinking that even he himself could not break in so easily, let alone that he heard there were all kinds of sub-formations in it he had never seen before.
After having been busy for a whole day, everybody was exhausted. After worshipping gods, they all went back to their own room and cultivate while sleeping. Then they found that the spiritual qi became much purer and it became easier for them to absorb. Besides, with the aid of the good luck of the house, their cultivation because pretty easy. Someone even got promoted that night as easy as drinking water. Only four hours someone had even got promoted to next phase of cultivation, which made everyone extra excited, wishing that they could take roots in here and never leave again.
Not long after Rong Yi fell asleep, someone screamed in the yard next door.
“What’s going on?” He opened his eyes surprisingly, got up quickly and opened the window, only seeing White Peacock was chasing after Bu Qi who wasin a mess on the roof.
Bu Qi shouted bitterly, “You are so unbelievable. Why are you still thinking of my mask at late night?”
“I promised it to someone, so I have to do it.” White Peacock hummed, “You are always on the alert. Really not easy to sneak attack.”
“If I am not careful enough, I would have died for like a thousand times.”
Rong Yi never thought White Peacock to be so persistent. Seeing there was no danger, he yawned and then went to sleep again.
Early the next morning, White Peacock came to Rong Yi with tens of masks in his mouth, “The mask on your disciple’s face is a magic weapon, which is composed of at least ten thousand masks. I have chased him the whole night and only took off forty of them. I have observed it for a long time. If we can not take off all those masks on his face, those masks here would then grow back on his face again.”
“It’s hard for you.” Rong Yi then said holding those masks in a hand, “I will ask someone else to take care of it.”
“If you ask someone with lower cultivation than him, he would never take off his mask.”
Rong Yi smiled without saying anything.
“Little Yiyi, here we are. You son of a bitch is really fast. You just bought the house the day before and now already moved in?” At this time, Qi Yueshi and others’ voice was heard outside the gate. Then he saw that they walked in with their greeting gifts.
On seeing Rong Yi, Zhu Xinyu patted on his chest, “Little Yiyi, it nearly scared the shit out of us. We saw that the gate is open and thought no one is home, so we came in to check on you. But it turns out that you set formations in your mansion. We were this close getting trapped in it.”
Zhong Ziqiao then picked up his words, “Fortunately Rong Su came in time and saved us.”
Tang Shangru looked around, surprised, “Little Yiyi, where did you hire this feng shui master who has arranged the feng shui here so well? I can say even the best feng shui master in Xijing Prefecture couldn’t have done such a good job.”
“Really?” Rong Yi was wondering how bad those feng shui masters here would be that Tang Shangru even called him master.
“Of course. Now this place becomes a feng shui treasure land. Even I want to move here. I am wondering if you got any vacant room.”
“No. But you can keep the formation you have set in here to borrow my feng shui.”
“I’d be very appreciated.” Tang Shangru was extremely happy. After the rearrangement, they could make more use of this place.
Rong Yi turned a look at White Peacock who was standing by, “Oh right, you are here in the right timing. Let me introduce you guys. This is White Peacock. He hopes that you can make him more beautiful and I wonder if you can make it. White Peacock, last time I said I wanted to introduce you some new friends. It’s the four of them. They all have good taste in dressing. I bet they could make you more beautiful.”
Actually he had seen what they were capable of in the clothes shop last time, including their makeup techniques, embroidering, nail polishing and even the hair.
On seeing White Peacock, Qi Yueshi immediately praised him, “You are so damn beautiful. This is the first time I have ever seen such a beautiful peacock. You don’t mind, we can dress you up now.”
“As long as you don’t hurt my body and spoil my original beauty, you can do whatever you want on me.”
Qi Yueshi then borrowed a room from Rong Yi and brought White Peacock in.
As for what they were doing, Rong Yi had no idea and also had no time to peep. What he wanted to do most now was to take off Bu Qi’s mask.
