Those evil beasts in the yard had never heard the words New Year, but they were also touched by Rong Yi and other people’s joys, so they also shouted and yelled.
“Happy New Year! Happy New Year!” Yin Tao who was wearing a red cotton-padded jacket ran after Rong Yi, “Daddy, daddy, what is New Year?”
After thinking for a bit, Rong Yi said, “New Year is a big day to celebrate. To celebrate for the past year and the coming of the new year. And all kids would receive their gift money.”
“What is gift money?”
“It’s… you’d receive a lot of Spiritual Stones.”
Usually Yin Tao could get whatever he wanted. Rong Su also stored a pile of spiritual stones for him in his storage bracelet. But he had never spent any of them, so when he heart spiritual stones, he didn’t show a happy expression since he had no concept of it at all.
Rong Yi then added, “You’d receive a lot of presents.”
Yin Tao’s eyes were beaming, “What present?”
Jiang Mu and Yin Sensen also looked at Rong Yi, eyes glittering.
“I will give you after New Year’s Eve dinner.”
After all decorations were removed out of the hall, over twenty big tables were placed in. Rong Yi and Yin Jinye took their places first, and then Yan Qiushuang took the seats with the kids.
Qi Yueshi and Rong Yi’s other friends that had been invited, Xiang Lv, Bu Qi all sat in the chairs.
Then the servants also too their seats.
Qi Yueshi said with a smile, “This feels like attending Little Yiyi and Lord Yin’s wedding banquet.”
Zhong Zixiao chuckled, “I also have the same feeling. We only need a ‘囍’ on the wall.”
Zhu Xinyu then said, “Little Yiyi, though you and Lord Yin are a couple, actually you haven’t held a wedding ceremony. Won’t you really consider making it up?”
Tang Shangru then continued, “Yeah, Chatelaine Yan only used Lord Yin’s memorial tablet to hold the wedding ceremony with you. That doesn’t count. You should have a real one.”
Rong Yi then looked over to Yin Jinye, “Daddy, what do you think?”
Everyone looked over to Yin Jinye.
Yin Jinye scanned the whole hall, lips curling into a graceful angle, “Not now. Still need some time.”
He turned to Rong Yi, “You know it.”
Rong Yi knew he wanted to wait till he went back into his own body, so he chortled, “Yeah, still need some time. Then you guys have to send me a big gift!”
Xiang Lv smiled, “As your disciples, of course it has to be a big one!”
Bu Qi also nodded approvingly, already staring to think what gift to send.
Rong Yi took up a glass of wine and sat up, saying to everyone, “In the past year, so many things have happened. And you guys all have it in your heart, so I won’t list them one by one. But there is one thing I want to express my gratitude. It’s about the information chamber. If it hadn’t been you and those evil beasts keeping busy out there, there wouldn’t be the information chamber. So here allow me to show my gratitude. Thank you all. Hope our information chamber and clothes shop would do better!”
He then said, “Here is a toast! Wish all of you happy New Year!”
Everybody took up their wine glasses and tossed off.
Suddenly, there was a banging sound outside.
Everybody looked out of the yard. It suddenly began to rain.
Those evil beasts were stoned, the next moment they smelled strong alcohol and couldn’t help sticking out their tongues to lick it.
“Alcohol?”
“Yeah.”
Those evil beasts screamed and shouted with great joys.
Rong Yi walked by the door, “We have alcohol, how can we forget about you? As for who have contributed most for the information chamber, of course it’s you guys. So enjoy the night! Let’s all get wasted!”
Those evil beasts thanked Rong Yi and then opened their mouths to catch the alcohol pouring down, only finding that it had spiritual qi which could improve their cultivation.
Yin Jinye announced, “Let’s begin!”
Those servants picked up their chopsticks and said with great joys, “Since I have reached my Base Practicing, I have never had any food.”
“Yeah, I nearly forgot what food tastes like.”
“After I start to eat again, I feel it tastes so fresh, so delicious.”
Seeing everybody so happy, Rong Yi also felt overjoyed in his heart. He then picked up a cup of wine and said to Yin Jinye, “Daddy, bottoms up!”
Yin Jinye also picked up a cup of win and clicked it with his.
Rong Yi hurriedly hooked his arm, “Drinking it this way would be better.”
Tang Shangru teased Rong Yi, “Are you gonna have your cross-cupped wine ahead?
Everybody in the hall looked over to them.
Rong Yi smiled, “Kind of.”
Yin Jinye then drank it off.
Everybody couldn’t help laughing.
Yin Tao looked at his daddy and then his father, “I want to drink it too!”
Yan Qiushuang picked up a chopstick, dipped some and put it in his mouth, “Is it delicious?”
Yin Tao frowned and stuck out his little tongue, “Spicy!”
“Hahaha!” Everybody laughed out loud.
After a hearty dinner, Wen Chuan took out a bunch of red envelops and handed them out, “Those are the red envelops the young master has prepared for all of you. Not too much. Just to show his gratitude to all of you.”
Meanwhile, outside it also started to have a red envelop rain. Those evil beasts were a bit surprised.
Rong Yi walked out and said to them, “Everybody has one. No one should take more! When we earn big money, I will give you a big one!”
Everybody cheered!
“I like New Year! We could receive money!”
