The first Elder smiled, “This kid is good, there might only be a few that can surpass him in terms of speed amongst the Elite students.”
The second elder nodded, “Yes, even Risard’s speed could not be underestimated, but of course his speed is comparatively inferior to your personal student Tyrion. It truly is a wind fall to personally teach such talented student. However… ”
The second Elder craned his neck at the hirer Elder and continued with a confused look on his face.
“Isn’t Tyrion supposed to be serving out his punishment at the recently fallen city, battling the horde of dimensional beast that invaded Sunfall city?”
The first Elder’s eyes squinted ‘seems like this news has spread already.’ however, he simply smiled like the old fox he was.
“It’s true what they say, nothing truly escapes your ears and your nose, second Elder. It truly makes me wonder what really is your God molecule, the ears of a feline or the ears of a giraffe?”
The second Elder’s face froze for a second as the atmosphere in the gallery turned immensely heavy. The entire stadium froze for a second and the students hundred of kilometers away, spectating the battle from their seat could feel their blood turning cold that very second.
The other eight elder s glanced at the Second elder and the First Elder with the corners of their eyes with amusement as though expecting a huge battle.
It was to be known that the second Elder’s was very temporamental. Although immensely scheming, his anger was like the wrath of a Mythical beast from the 5th dimension descending onto this plane.
Before the situation escalated, the third elder suddenly jumped in.
“Haha, we have three students with such high potentials in the Trooper class, it is indeed a blessing for the academy!” The third elder could not stop himself from having a smile on his face.
The second elder snorted. His beard sparkling with massive amount of energy as he and choose to ignore the the First elder.
On the arena, Tyrion ended the fight, activating a portion of Phantom Step and with a punch towards Risard, his chest caved in as he was sent off the stage with blood spouting out from his mouth and nose.
“Tyrion wins!”
The referee was shocked and then shouted loud to announce the winner.
Without much complacency, Tyrion flashed and then stood beside Harry.
Harry was excited, “This is so great, even Risard’s speed is inferior to yours.”
“He could not understand the essence of wind but he had the strength of wind.” Wind had no form or shape. If Risard could learn this, naturally Tyrion could not win against him in terms of speed.
Risard got away from the arena distracted. His loss in terms of speed had a huge impact on him. He was so arrogant with extreme confidence earlier and assumed that he could easily knock out Tyrion.
The tenth match had ended.
The judges spoke out the result.
“For group Seven, the highest score is Tyrion with twenty marks, followed by Risard, eighteen marks, the third is.”
For the group elimination, the first three highest scorers would be qualified for the next round, therefore Risard was not eliminated.
Swiftly, the results were announced for the other group stages.
Harry was eliminated due to continuous losses in the group stage. Meanwhile, Ligan and Tyger advanced as the top scorers in their groups.
Although the competitions were remarkable, they had to get their lunch since it was now noon.
The current head of instructor, Fabian stood up and made an announcement that the next matching would be held in the afternoon.
Through out the entirety of the morning, he hadn’t lay a single eye on Tyrion nor did he bat an eye when it was Tyrion’s turn to battle. It was as though he had expected Tyrion here instead of at the battle field.
In the dining hall.
“Apart from Alicia, Faruan and Tyrion it is so unexpected the previous unknown, Ligan and Tyger would emerge from us Trooper class.”
“Ligan’s sword skills are so aggressive. Until now, I could not figure out how he defeated Delery.”
“Tyger is good as well. He was so stable, he defeated Samuel with just three attacks.”
“However, Tyrion seemed to have lucked though this again this time.”
“At this rate, I don’t think it has anything to do with lick but his ability.”
“You might be right. He was able to puxj back Instructor Fabian the previous time. I really don’t think it was luck. ”
“In your opinion, does Tyrion have any other abilities apart from his speed?”
“He probably only has his speed. But speed can only get you so far. The top 8 and above are maniacs on another level.”
“True, I heard their combat power is above the elite class. They each possess and have mastered at least one move of a legendary technique!”
“Yes, no matter how fast he is, if he could not attack, he can’t win against someone like Ligard.”
“Yeah, other than Risard, Delery and Samuel, the other seven people from the top students have not yet used their full strength, they have not even demonstrated 40 percent of their true strength. To defeat them, one needs to be strong in every aspect.”

The stadium was filled with excitement again, it was even a few times more than it was that morning.
In the middle of the stage, the temporary Head Instructor Fabian explained in a loud noise, “The last stage of the matches will be the elimination and the ranking matches. We will eliminate up to twenty people in the elimination and the remaining ten students will fight to determine their rank in the ranking matches.”
Below the stage, Tyrion understood well. There were ten rounds for the elimination, simultaneously taking place on three arenas. However, the students would not be fixed on any of the stage. By random distribution, they would be fighting on any of the arenas.
Therefore, after the ten matches of elimination, the top ten with the highest scores would be the new top ten students in this session of tournament.
After being selected as the top ten students, they would need to participate in the complicated ranking matches to determine their rank in the top ten.
“Now, let the battles begin” Instructor Fabian’s voice rumbled like thunder as he spoke.
“Bang!”
From the auditorium, people there were cheering to support their preferred students.
“First arena, Samuel versus Ghon!”
“Second arena, Ligan versus Wayne!”
“Third arena, Mentrail versus Risard!”
The results of the first two battles were predictable. It might be quite interesting since the battle in the third arena was between two people from the previous top ten students. A big applause was given to the third battle.
The six selected students got to the arenas.
As expected, Samuel and Ligan had beaten their opponent easily and got their first two marks.
At the same time, the battle for the third arena had not yet started.
Risard was looking at Mentrail with a serious look on his face. As one of the previous top ten, there were two people that he did not want to encounter. One was the Ghost Sword, while the other was the Blood Shadow, Mentrail.
The Ghost Sword, had an unpredictable weapon skill. Warriors inferior to him could not pose any threat to him. And Mentrail was scarier as he was actually a peak of super soldier!
In addition, he had actually learnt his technique to the highest level, making him undefeatable in the same realm.
But Risard was reluctant to just surrender, even though he could not win against Mentrail.
He had risen too fast and his potential had multipled over. It would be an embarrassment if he could not even take one attack from Mentrail.
Mentrail joked, “Risard, are you thinking of ways to counter a single attack of mine?”
“You can give up on trying. Your strength is far lower than mine.”
Walking step by step towards Risard, the ground shook as Mentrail touched the shaft of his blade with his right hand.
“Flash!”
Risard got nervous and dashed to the side. His body disappeared from everyone’s sight.
“You can not escape from me!”
Almost no one could see how Mentrail made his slash, but a red slash did cut rapidly.
A moment later, Risard showed up. A long cleave was made on his dress from his chest until his waist.
“Haha!”
As he laughed loudly, Mentrail made his way down the stage
“Even if Risard lost to Tyrion in term of speed, his speed is still quite good when compared to other students. But he could not even escape from a single slash from Mentrail, the gap is truly large.”
“This year, Mentrail has become even more fearful.”
