“These aren’t mine! I swear!” He waved his hands frantically, his voice cracking as he staggered back.
Garry barely held in a laugh.
“Damn…” he muttered under his breath before biting his tongue.
Nobody paid him any attention.
Suzan, however, wasn’t having it.
“Of course, they’re not yours, you dumbass! These belong to a woman! Don’t play with me! Who’s the bitch?”
Her eyes were sharp, burning with rage.
“And why the hell were they in MY ROOM?!”
She clenched the pink panties in her hand, her fingers trembling.
Suzan’s mother, Kelly, stammered from behind.
“Suzan… th-this… maybe we should talk about this later?” She gulped, eyeing the scene of horror her daughter was creating.
She reached for Suzan’s wrist, trying to shove the panties back into her bag.
“No, mother! Let me talk this out!” Suzan yanked her arm free, her fury unshaken.
“I want to know who the hell this belongs to! Tell me, Alex!”
Her eyes bore into him like daggers.

She leaned closer, her grip tightening.

Alex gulped.
His eyes flickered to the panties in her grip.

Suzan flung the panties slightly, shaking them in frustration.
“She must be a fucking grandma! That’s what pisses me off the most! Not just the cheating but that he cheated on me with a GODDAMN OLD HAG!”
Suzan’s anger exploded further.
Kelly rubbed her nose, visibly frustrated.
“Suzan, enough! We’re in a restaurant! Also… these panties aren’t that bad. It’s just a certain style”

Suzan ignored her mother completely as she shot Alex a murderous glare.

Alex felt a headache coming.

He glanced at Suzan’s mother, Kelly who was now looking absolutely pissed off.

Suzan exploded.

She yanked the panties apart, stretching them slightly as if they disgusted her.

Alex winced.
“Don’t try to play dumb! Just tell me is it that bitch from your nightclub job?!”

Suzan shook the panties violently as if they personally offended her.
The restaurant fell into absolute silence.
Kelly’s face was growing darker with each passing second as Suzan continued her rant, completely unaware of the storm she was brewing.
Lucian and Jimmy sat quietly on the side, both watching the situation unfold like an unexpected movie.
They exchanged a quick glance. Neither had any idea how to step into this without making things worse.

He had leaned back in his chair, tilting it slightly, arms folded behind his head.
This was entertainment.
There was no way in hell he was missing this.

Kelly snatched the panties out of Suzan’s hands.
Her face was fuming.
The restaurant fell into a dead silence.
Lucian, Jimmy, and Garry stared in shock.
Big. Fat. Question marks hovered over their heads.
For a few seconds, the entire restaurant went still.
Even the guests who had been eating in peace turned to watch.
Waiters froze mid-step.

He let out a slow, dramatic shake of his head.

It was all he could say.
Then, he turned to Alex, his lips curling into a smirk.
“No offense, sister.” He nodded toward Suzan, then turned back to Alex.
“But you? You, my friend, are a damn legend.”
He gave Alex a thumbs-up.
Alex… blinked.
“Huh?”
He had no idea how to react.
Suzan?
She just stood there, completely dumbfounded.
Her brain short-circuited.
She looked at her mother.
Then at the panties.
Then back at her mother.
Then back at the panties.
Processing.
Processing.
And then
“HAHHH?!?!?! WHATTTTT?!?!”
Suzan exploded.
Her eyes practically popped out of her skull.
Kelly, completely unbothered, hmphed and shoved the panties back into her purse.

She tilted her head away, crossing her arms, completely unfazed.
The entire restaurant erupted in collective shock.
“WTF?! WTF?! WTF?!”
Customers, waiters everyone shouted at once, cursing in disbelief.
Suzan, still frozen in shock, pointed a trembling finger at Kelly.
Her entire body shook.
“You… you… YOU”
Her voice cracked as she struggled to form words.
She looked at Kelly, then at Alex, then back at Kelly her brain refusing to accept reality.
Then, finally
“YOU SLEPT WITH MY BOYFRIEND?!?!”
Suzan’s eyes were wide with horror.
Her hands clenched into fists, trembling.
Her voice rose into a near-hysterical scream.
Kelly remained completely unfazed.
She simply turned her head to the side, huffing.
A smug, superior expression on her face.
Like she was above this conversation.
Like she wasn’t the literal cause of the chaos happening in the restaurant.
Suzan, however, was losing it.
“THAT’S… THAT’S SOOO BAD! WHAT KIND OF MOTHER DOES THAT?!?”
