Chapter 46 18. Male Warlock
The battle situation in the manor began to stalemate, and the Duruchi soldiers began to suffer minor casualties.
The five powerful men of Dacus rushed in and broke the stalemate. The Duruchi mercenaries and family guards had never seen such a battle.
A Reaper crossbow was set up, and the shotgun shells fired close to the faces of the people, directly knocking down a large number of them. The lucky ones were shot dead directly, while those who survived began to wail.

Daxus flipped over and jumped off the Cold Lizard, hung the Drum of Recovery on his waist, drew out the Messer Knife and rushed into the building. Bainie and Flanais stood in front of him, and Water and Ryan were behind him to cover his retreat.

The family guards in the house rushed towards them. Daxus' eyes were wide open, and he gritted his teeth, trying to overcome the pain from his soul. He transformed into Black Cat Sheriff, pulled out the flintlock rifle from the holster on his right leg, flipped the safety, and shot directly at the warlock. As expected, the lead bullet flew away and hit the warlock's ear, breaking one ear while he continued to cast spells, while the other covered his ear and screamed.
Bainie and Franais relied on their strong will to overcome the pain and fought with the family guards. Watt fell to his knees and wailed, his fists clenched, and cold sweat dripped from his head.
Ryan took out two family guards at close range with a repeating crossbow. When his quiver was empty, he leaned over to pick up the repeating crossbow at Walter's waist and yelled at him, "Don't lie down."
The Cruciatus Curse cast by the warlock of the Second Executioner only lasted for about twenty seconds. If Malekith, Morathi and Anasara were there, the five powerful men of Dacius would have been hanged on the wall by now.
Bainie used a Messier knife with one hand to kill the family guards one by one. After all, he was a martial arts master in the Duruchi society and ranked in the top 20, even if he was missing an arm.
Flanais was not injured this time and started slashing with the Messer knife. Ryan emptied the quiver again, then threw the crossbow on the ground and started slashing with the serrated sword.
Darkus pulled Walter, who was still kneeling on the ground, to his feet and slapped him hard. Walter, having recovered, joined the fray, Knight's Leaf Hammer in hand. Within moments, all twelve family guards lay dead, seven of them from Bainie. Ryan, cursing, rushed over and kicked Yi Er in the face.
"Don't kill him. Aren't we worried about having no evidence?" After saying that, Dacus wiped the blood off his face.
Bainie twirled the Messiah in his right hand, playing with it and moving it around. When he saw the family guard still struggling on the ground, he went up and slashed him with the knife.
The battle in the manor was over. Although the mercenaries knew that surrender would mean death, they still couldn't hold on. They put down their weapons, knelt on the ground and raised their hands.
Kaleen drove in on the Scourge Walker chariot, with a struggling Druch tied to the chariot with steel chains. The tamer next to him kicked him impatiently, then jumped off the Scourge Walker chariot to appease the dinosaur that had stopped its madness.
Edmund led two teams into the building and surrounded the family guards who were blocking Walter's brother in a large room.
The five dignitaries of Dacus also came in. Alyssa's black silk dress was stained with blood. Her hands had returned to their original state, and the tips of her nails were still covered with blood and flesh. She looked at Dacus and smiled at him.

Darkius took out the Drum of Echo and began beating it slowly, stretching his voice in an aria: "Ah~ Now the story is about to reach its climax, and our Avengers will take a brand new step forward!"
Ryan turned around and saw Walter looking at his brother blankly. He waved to Edmund and began to back away.
"Now, our Avenger has come to the center of the stage. What wonderful performance will he give to everyone next?"
Daxus continued to beat the Drum of Echo, and the drumbeats became more and more intense, as if a curtain was about to be drawn.
Walter finally came to his senses, picked up the Knight Leaf Hammer and walked towards his brother.
Walter's brother seemed to want to say something, but he would never be able to say it because his skull was fractured.
Walter threw down the Knight Leaf Hammer, found a deserted place and sat down, looking down at the floor.
The drumbeats stopped abruptly at the climax.
