In a forest in the Land of Fire.
After some travel, the three prepared to rest here.
Renye leaned against a tree, looking at the mission scroll in his hand.
Danzo Shimura and Utatane Koharu sat not far away.
“Renye-kun, why is this mission location so far away?” Utatane Koharu looked puzzled.
Danzo Shimura turned his head to look when he heard this.
This mission was indeed a bit far; just the travel alone would take three days.
It didn't fit the previous standards for their team's missions at all:
“Lots of money, few tasks, close to home.”
Renye explained, “This mission has a higher reward.”
He couldn't possibly tell them that he needed to stay away from Senju Tobirama for a while, which was why he took this long-distance mission, could he?
Hearing this, the two subconsciously nodded.
They accepted Renye's explanation.
The reward for this mission was indeed much higher than usual.
It involved being a bodyguard for a wealthy merchant for a period of time.

Uchiha Tanaka saw Renye's Three-Tomoe Sharingan, and a fleeting look of shock flashed across his face.
“You call me a traitor?” Renye couldn't help but sneer, “When Senju Hashirama came to adopt me, none of you dared to even utter a sound, but now you're accusing me.”
“Uchiha Renye, do you know what you're saying?” Uchiha Tanaka's face turned ugly, clearly angered by Renye's words.

“Shut up!” Uchiha Tanaka interrupted Renye's words.
