POV Vesuvius:
A lake of yellow lava glowed and bubbled with fumes and smoke coming out of it. Slight tremors and rumbles were passing through the stone.
Suddenly waves rose in the magma, and the whole volcano shook as something stirred within it.
The dragon deep in the sea of magma opened his eyes. Everything around him was filled with magma, its heat and mana washing over his body. He slightly moved his hand, sending waves through the magma and tremors through the ground.
He felt the immense power flowing through his muscles. There was also a searing spot in his heart that kept pulsing and sending waves of magic through his body.

The dragon looked at the effect in horror, already imagining the storm of decisions that awaited him, ‘Five levels? That means that a lot of my abilities will evolve.
It was so thrilling that the magma around him boiled, turning almost white from heat, but at the same time, he realised how much decision-making awaited him, ‘Well, I don’t have to do it at once.’
A searing pain stabbed his heart, and Vesuvius focused on it instead of the rest of the benefits. The burning hot spots in his two hearts were constantly growing and becoming more intense. The heat was so fierce that he ground his teeth in pain. He felt like his two hearts were boiling in acid.
He focused even more, and then he felt it. There were two immensely concentrated blobs of mana submerging the hearts. They were so concentrated that it looked like they would explode at any second.
‘Should I suppress it? No, I need to do the opposite.’ it felt instinctual to him. He knew what he had to do.
He poured more mana into his two hearts, and as if a vortex opened within him, all of the mana from the surrounding lava, stone, air and steam rushed towards him at such a speed that it affected the physical world.
The whole volcano rumbled loudly, magma and stone rotating around the dragon, the world trembling around him. The storm formed above the volcano, lightning striking from the sky into the caldera, hitting the dragon buried within it.
It wasn’t painful. On the opposite, Vesuvius felt his two hearts suck the energy from around him, gobbling it down with the intensity of the mana blobs around them growing.
POV ???:
The battle stopped with everyone looking towards the sky that blackened. Everyone felt it, even the mana-insensitive humans, as an immense, unimaginable amount of mana and energy flowed around them, all of it moving towards the volcano. The storm raged in the sky, with lightning striking the mountain constantly.
All the kobolds fell on their knees, turning towards the volcano, their mana leaving their bodies and joining the rest.
A massive vortex formed in the sky, magma, lightning, earth, water, wind, fire and smoke quickly rotating like a colossal tornado with its origin deep within the volcano under it.
The human soldiers were frozen in sheer horror, their whole bodies trembling as they felt the end of the world was coming.
The whole sky ignited in blue flames that spread in all directions while spiralling around the massive trembling volcano.
POV Alesia:
The young elf fell on her knees, facing the volcano. She felt a slight push pulling at her mana. She let it be, watching as it left her body and joined the vortex.
She was trembling, but not in fear but in joy. She already felt it, ‘It is the master, he woke up, and he is stronger than ever before.’
Plenty of strong races, like elementals, giants, spirits and vampires, were powerful beyond mortals.
‘However, one thing they all lack when compared to the four pillars of balance are their domains.’
POV Tanya:
Tanya was walking down the corridor when abruptly she stopped in her steps as she felt something itching deep within her soul. At first, it was weak, but it was quickly getting stronger and stronger
Somehow she knew what was going on, ‘It’s master, and he wants my mana.’
With excitement, she let it go, and a large wave of mana burst out of her body. All the glowing light crystals in the corridor flickered, with the temperature turning blazing hot.
Soon everything turned quiet and dark as the mana vanished into the distance, taking all of their ambient mana from the air with it.
POV Wyrm Astrapolius:
The wyrm opened their glowing golden eyes within the large cocoon of the storm. He felt the blood in his veins boil and go berserk.𝚘𝓥𝐥xt.𝐜𝔬𝑚
‘Ohh, so you have grown so much…’
He felt the mana within his body thriving and calling to be let go. He was strong, so he was sure that he could refuse. However, something within him craved to let it go.
He wasn’t sure. Maybe it was his greed, wanting to indebt the dragon, or pride, wanting to show the humans where their place was.
‘It is just mana. It will regenerate back anyway.’
He finally let it go, and a massive wave of mana exploded out of his body, manifesting into a stream of lightning that launched towards the horizon.
