At that critical moment, the portal of the Trial Domain shimmered, and a figure stepped out. “It’s Broken!” Booba shouted, a mixture of relief and fear in his voice. “Broken, get out of there! That shorty’s gonna kill you!!”
Emerging from the portal, Broken felt his breath catch, his eyes instantly locking onto a rifle trained on him. As reality sunk in, his gaze shifted from the cold barrel to the face of Melliandra, smirking with malicious delight. Her finger curled around the trigger, and she sneered with twisted glee, “Show me you’re worthy to join us, hahaha,” she taunted.
The rifle fired, the shot bursting through the air with a blinding flash and a deafening crack. For a moment, everyone stood frozen, their faces etched with shock. Broken didn’t have time to react or even comprehend what was happening; it all transpired faster than his vision could track. But…
