Broken carefully read the restriction for equipping the Knuckles: the item had to be bound to him, which meant he couldn’t transfer it to anyone else once he acquired it. He furrowed his brow slightly at this revelation, pondering the implications. Selling such a weapon could undoubtedly fetch him a substantial sum of money. However, this was the first Legendary weapon he had crafted with his own hands.
“The price for this will surely be astronomical, Broken,” Freya remarked.
Broken nodded slowly, weighing his options. “But I think I can find other ways to make money. If I can use these knuckles, my combat potential will skyrocket,” he replied, still deep in thought.
“But, you should know that these are knuckles, not a sword. You’ll need to start focusing on allocating your stats to both Strength and Agility because knuckles depend heavily on the Agility stat.”
Broken had already begun considering this adjustment, especially after acquiring a powerful skill related to his Bow-type weapon. This additional weapon would provide him more versatility in combat while he still retained the sword he obtained from the Raid Boss’s loot.
Considering his situation again briefly, though the decision had already solidified in his mind, Broken resolved to bind the Legendary-grade knuckles.

He placed his index finger against the knuckles, and a stream of red energy, the color of blood, emanated from his fingertip, creating an unbreakable bond with the weapon.

Broken immediately donned the Knuckles, which adhered to the back of his hands and featured five blades on each. The design was sleek, with intricate leaf engravings adorning the metal. The knuckles felt incredibly sturdy, and he couldn’t help but admire their craftsmanship.
“Nature Warp Strike. The skill description says I can summon vines and direct them anywhere. And I can use it continuously?” He noted the absence of a cooldown period on the skill description.
“I think the knuckles are quite unique,” Freya remarked. “It’s a close-range weapon, but you can deal long-range damage too.”
“Indeed, it’s quite unique.”
Freya and Ivana watched with growing curiosity as Broken prepared to test the skill.
With a determined stance, Broken visualized where the vine would emerge, then made a swift slashing motion.

The sound of steel slicing through the air filled the room. Suddenly, a thin, vine-like structure emerged from the knuckles, warping the blade. The vine darted swiftly towards its target, disappearing and reappearing instantaneously from another direction with lightning speed. With a resounding crash, the vine struck a large glass window across the room, causing it to shatter into pieces within seconds.
Broken retracted the vine, which seemed to recede quickly and vanish back into his right knuckle.
Ivana clapped her hands in delight. “That’s so cool,” she said, laughing softly.
“Yes… I wonder if you can wrap the vine around sturdy objects and swing from them,” Freya
suggested.
Broken furrowed his brow, considering the idea. “Like what Spider-Man does?”
Freya giggled. “Yes… I think you should try it.”
He realized he couldn’t test the full extent of the Knuckle’s skills in the confined space of the inn room. He then glanced at the second skill, knowing it was also impractical to test in such a
limited area.
“The second skill requires a substantial amount of Mana, but I think it’s quite satisfying given the massive damage it can deal with a single use,” he noted.
Freya nodded in agreement. “And the cooldown is fairly short. It’s shorter than Explosive Arrow, which has a 60-second cooldown and consumes even more Mana.”
“Yes, but Explosive Arrow has a longer range, even though it needs a five-second charge
time.”
He considered the pros and cons of each skill. It was clear that while the Explosive Arrow offered a significant range advantage, Vines of Torment could be cast more easily and instantly. Both skills had their unique strengths and weaknesses, making them valuable assets in different battle scenarios.
“The skill also immobilizes the target for two seconds. That’s an eternity in a fight!” Freya emphasized.
Broken nodded in agreement, recognizing that the skill not only dealt significant damage but also provided critical crowd control.
“The third skill, Thorny Torment,” he continued. “This skill seems to not only increase damage but also has a chance to inflict mini-root effects with every attack I make using the knuckles. However, I’m not sure how frequently it triggers,” he explained.
The skill was especially suitable when fighting with knuckles in both hands, as it would significantly boost his attack speed. He could render his opponents helpless if they kept getting mini-root by his relentless attacks. It was indeed an extraordinary skill. However, after analyzing it further, he realized that using the knuckles would require him to learn a completely new combat style, vastly different from wielding a sword. He would need to optimize the use of all three skills effectively.
The Nature Warp Strike, in particular, could deliver attacks from unexpected angles and pull enemies closer, allowing him better control over the flow of battle. Meanwhile, the second skill offered the capability to deal powerful, long-range damage, compensating for the shortcomings of a close-range fighter.
He then decided to use his Blacksmith’s Appraisal, hoping to uncover any hidden features or interesting aspects within the knuckles.
