He picked up the Eight-Direction Han Sword, and the ripples created by the scabbard striking the Next Generation Species's head pushed Zero and Old Tang away.
The long, massive black shadow, filled with immense hatred, violently charged at Lu Mingfei. Its hard, venomous dragon fangs unleashed a tremendous biting force, aiming to snap Lu Mingfei in half at the waist. This force was enough to bite through steel plates several meters thick, but it had no effect on the Han Sword.
The ribbon wrapped around the Han Sword's scabbard. As it was pushed upwards, Lu Mingfei slowly drew out Arrogance, one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
The Dragon Bone State continued. The ribbon could no longer wrap around Lu Mingfei's forearm; it was now entirely covered by dragon scales of a higher rank. It could only shamelessly entwine itself around Arrogance's hilt, held by Lu Mingfei.
The excess part of the ribbon, after wrapping around the scabbard, danced in the water. The blade gleamed with a cold light, and the battle between Lu Mingfei and the Next Generation Species officially began.
The shadow behind Lu Mingfei continuously expanded. He looked back and saw a thick bronze wall firmly blocking his retreat. In less than five seconds, he would be crushed against the wall and shattered to pieces.
His dragonized arm, aided by the ribbon, tugged at the scabbard stuck between the dragon's fangs. The entire scabbard seemed welded to the fangs, unmoving. Lu Mingfei had no choice but to give up on turning around and instead pulled the sword upwards.
All of Angers's one-on-one movements with his students that day replayed in his mind. Thanks to the enhancement of his Inspiration, he remembered every detail of Angers's and his classmates' movements.
His crimson-gold eyes blazed as he directly activated Measure the Days, using the force to kick off from the gap between the bronze wall and the Next Generation Species.
