“Argh!”
The Xin elder screeched as he felt a sudden and intense headache.
Qin Feng’s fire dragon had moved away from the Moonlit Wolf, leaving behind a headless scorched corpse.
“Qin Feng!” Xin Zhen slammed the table and stood up angrily. His overpowering aura as an E8-tier ancient warrior flared up instantly.
He was utterly livid, clearly at wits’ end!
Qin Feng’s voice came out from within the dragon. “Yes? Are you not entertained by my show, Master Xin?” It sounded like a dragon’s roar, fuzzy but amplified.
Xin Zhen’s face distorted due to his rage.
The entire place was a mess. Most guests had left the garden to hide from the extreme heat. The Xin family’s banquet had been completely toppled over by one man.
That very man refused to stop as he was still ravaging inside the energy dome. The giant dragon head whizzed about and hunted the Savage Crocodile next.
“No!”
The other ability user screamed out of horror. He soon fainted as an intense headache came crashing like a part of his conscious energy had just been devoured.
None of the beasts was able to survive Qin Feng’s brutality.
It was not their original plan to release the two beast generals. They were there simply to daunt the crowd while the initial two were the ones they wanted to flaunt.
Unexpectedly, all four were now annihilated.
Xin Zhen could not wait to take Qin Feng’s life with his own hands.
This was when Xin Jiasheng, who endured the heat and stayed put, came forth and yelled, “Kill yourself, or she will be killed!” A long sword appeared in Xin Jiasheng’s hand and its tip was pointed at Bai Li’s throat.
Bai Li did not move and peered coldly at Xin Jiasheng. Her iris narrowed, a sign of hostility toward an enemy or prey.
Qin Feng’s face darkened and he warned, “You better put it away, or beg for your life afterward.”
Such words were like an empty threat in the ears of the Xin family.
Xin Zhen scanned Bai Li with disdain, as if he had taken absolute control of the situation.
Bai Li was not sporting her E-tier badge right now. She had also concealed her aura so no one was able to sense the enormous power within her.
But Xin Zhen learned from Han Town’s intel that this girl was also an ability user. If that were the case, they were going to terminate her here as well.
“Capture her!” Xin Zhen pointed at Bai Li. He thought that he had grasped Qin Feng’s Achilles’ heel.
To their surprise, Bai Li moved first. She stepped sideways and slid away from Xin Jiasheng’s sword, then she swiped her hand through the air. That simple gesture seemed to have merely slashed through empty space.
Rip!
Sharp claws sliced across Xin Jiasheng’s body.
Thump!
Giant wounds appeared on his body and Xin Jiasheng was sent flying backward like a thin fabric.
“Bastard!”
Those from the Xin family were enraged after they saw what Bai Li did to their heir. They were scared of Qin Feng so instinctively, they cornered Bai Li, trying to capture her. Of course, that was just pure naivety.
Qin Feng growled when he saw that Bai Li was being attacked, albeit knowing that Bai Li would not be harmed easily, such an act still greatly displeased him.
“Open!”
Qin Feng triggered his conscious energy without reserve and sent out the fire dragon. The giant dragon head blasted directly on the energy dome. The energy dome vibrated vigorously and finally succumbed to Qin Feng’s consciousness and fire runes.
Boom!
One of the energy dome devices exploded and black smoke began to fume from it. The ray emitted by it rapidly disappeared.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
One after another, the devices exploded and sparked fiercely. It was like setting off fireworks.
Qin Feng dashed out from the dome. Carried by the fire dragon, he charged rapidly and the fire suffocated those around him.
“Boy, know your place!”
Xin Zhen dared not underestimate Qin Feng any further and used his full force in the first attack. He extended his palm trying to grab Qin Feng.
“Get the hell out of my way!” Qin Feng shouted and generated another dragon head from the flame around him. It pounced on Xin Zhen.
Xin Zhen used his inner force to dissolve the attack. As an E8-tier ancient warrior, his internal energy was massive and contained eight layers of energy clouds. Someone who had just advanced into E-tier could not compete with that kind of power.
However, that only applied to the average user. Qin Feng was by no means average.
Thanks to his Asteroid Assimilation and Absorption ability, he had nine layers of internal force even though he had just been promoted to E-tier.
Hence, he actually surpassed Xin Zhen in terms of internal force.
After suppressing the dragon, Xin Zhen charged into the center of the fire viciously.
“Die!”
‘No matter how bright you shine, your light dims today! The authority of the Xin family cannot be challenged. Those who dare to disobey us will be killed mercilessly!’
Xin Zhen’s powerful assault was about to shatter Qin Feng’s fire dragon.
Just in the nick of time, the flame rolled back and revealed Qin Feng in the center. The fire dragon hovered behind him like a backdrop.
Qin Feng infused his fist with internal power and punched out. Sparks appeared around him and the power of the fist was so strong that the ground below him began to quake and crumble.
Boom!
Qin Feng’s fist met straight on with Xin Zhen’s palm.
Boom!
The collision resulted in a massive explosion that shattered the chairs and tables on the ground into pieces.
Xin Zhen could not believe his eyes.
The fist on his palm was filled with vibrant internal force, which effectively neutralized his assault.
“Asteroid Assimilation!” Qin Feng’s voice hit Xin Zhen hard like his fist.
In the next moment, the resistive force suddenly turned into a pulling force. As a result, Xin Zhen’s internal strength leaked out profusely as if a sluice had just been opened. He could not stop his internal force from continuously disappearing into Qin Feng’s fist.
“What’s happening?”
Xin Zhen raised his head. He knew that this was a terrible situation to be in based on his years of battle experience.
Xin Zhen twisted his wrist, attempting to turn his palm into a fist and retract his hand.
Qin Feng responded swiftly as Xin Zhen moved and extended his hand to wrap around Xin Zhen’s fist.
It was a reversal of the earlier situation. One thing did not change though, Qin Feng was still absorbing Xin Zhen’s internal strength.
“No! Come aid me now. Kill him!” Xin Zhen bawled. He could only depend on others under this circumstance.
Unfortunately, the others were still busy cornering Bai Li. Xin Jiasheng’s chest was opened up by a single blow from Bai Li’s claws. His heart was exposed and could be seen beating from the outside.
Those besieging Bai Li approached carefully after witnessing her cruelty. They soon realized that Bai Li was way tougher than they had initially perceived.
There were four of them, yet they were unable to capture Bai Li. One of them was even heavily injured in the process.
They decisively ditched Bai Li after hearing Xin Zhen’s order and dashed desperately toward Qin Feng.
