Chapter 99: If You Knew You Were Going to Die
Su Hao knocked the scaled man down once again with a stone and then woke up the muscular man.
As soon as the muscular man woke up, he immediately struggled, his muscles bulging as he tried to break free from the ropes.

Su Hao didn’t say anything; it was impossible to communicate with this guy unless he was subdued.
As the muscular man reached out to untie the ropes on his feet, Su Hao moved in a flash and swept a leg across his face. The muscular man immediately raised his arm to block.
*Thud!*
The burst of force sent the muscular man tumbling backward several meters.
The muscular man’s hands trembled from the impact, and Su Hao also felt a sharp pain in his foot. Indeed, the effect of force was mutual.

“Stones are still more effective!” Su Hao picked up the stone he had thrown aside earlier and slowly approached the muscular man.

Another stone strike made Sowang’s head tilt to the side, but his spine remained straight, and he wasn’t knocked down. Sowang burst into laughter, “Hahaha, you useless coward. Come and kill me, Sowang!”
Su Hao frowned and delivered a powerful blow to Sowang’s forehead.
“Thud!” Sowang lay motionless on the ground, unconscious once again.
After thinking for a moment, Su Hao walked over and woke up the scaled man.
The scaled man woke up again, realizing that he was still alive. He was overjoyed and looked at Su Hao with anticipation. “Big brother, did you really spare my life?”
Su Hao asked, “Based on your performance, what’s your name?”
The scaled man hesitated, “Well…”

Yashan swallowed nervously, cautiously asking, “What is an experimental subject?”

Yashan immediately nodded and said, “Okay, I agree to become your experimental subject, as long as you spare my life.”
Su Hao pointed at Sowang, the muscular man, and said, “As the first gift, that muscular man is now yours.”
Yashan was momentarily stunned, looking at Sowang lying on the side, then back at himself, and pointed, “Mine?”
Su Hao nodded, wanting to see what Yashan would do next.
Yashan had a delighted expression and said, “Thank you, big brother!”
Su Hao replied, “You can call me Wei.”
Yashan hurriedly added, “Thank you, Wei big brother, no, Boss Wei, thank you, Boss Wei.”
Yashan reluctantly raised his tied hands and feet, looking at Su Hao for help.
Su Hao asked in surprise, “Can’t you break free?”
Yashan embarrassedly shook his head, “I’m a ‘scaled man,’ primarily focused on defense, and strength isn’t my strong suit.”
Su Hao pulled out a small knife from his waist and walked over to cut the ropes.
Yashan jumped up, rubbed his head, which was throbbing with pain, and directly grabbed Sowang’s arm, tearing the sleeve open, and bit into the arm. He tore off a bloody piece of flesh, swallowed it whole.
“Ah!” Sowang screamed in pain, waking up.
*Thud!*
Another stone hit his forehead, knocking him unconscious again. Sowang had been hit multiple times tonight; he might end up with a concussion.
But that didn’t seem to matter much since Sowang was already a bit slow-witted.
Yashan looked satisfied after swallowing a large piece of meat.
Su Hao was very curious about what changes occurred in the body after consuming such a large piece of meat. Unfortunately, without instruments to detect it, and the Pinball Space couldn’t record others’ physical information.

Yashan was surprised, “Do experimental subjects only have to eat?”
Su Hao smiled, “You can think of it that way. Don’t worry; I’ll find you! Don’t think about running away; you can’t escape.”
With that, Su Hao left directly.
Yashan looked around the dark and silent surroundings, feeling a sense of being reborn after narrowly escaping death. He quickly left, planning to lay low for a few days and decide his course of action later.
As he hurriedly departed, a question popped into Yashan’s mind: “If I knew I would die tomorrow, what would I do?”

He quietly entered a side room and fell asleep.
