As usual, the trio treated it as a competition.
Feng Zheng followed Renjiro closely. A few seconds later, Mieko and Hodaka also arrived.
Renjiro looked at his students and said,
"Congratulations on becoming Chunin so quickly. Few people can become Chunin in less than a year after graduating. As the Hokage said, this means our squad is disbanding."
He smiled and continued,
"I am proud to have students like you."
The three children all bowed and said,
"Thank you, Sensei, for your careful guidance!"
The training under him in recent months had been very fruitful! They had made great progress!
Renjiro continued,
"However, we will still do one last mission together. I will take you on a Rank A Mission."
This made them excited. Mieko asked,
"Really, Sensei?"
Generally speaking, it was rare for a Chunin to participate in a Rank A Mission. Only when the leading Jonin specifically requested it would a Chunin have the opportunity to participate.
Renjiro nodded.
"The mission is after your training with Hokage-sama. First, focus on your training. Also, you must train hard in the future. I believe that as long as you work hard, all three of you can become Elite Jonin."
The children promised to train diligently. The group eventually dispersed.
Mieko and Hodaka went home, while Feng Zheng walked towards the Library. He wondered,

Feng Zheng entered the B section of the Library and first looked up Wind Release Ninjutsu. After reviewing all the Ninjutsu, he sighed.
"Sigh, how disappointing. There isn't even Wind Vacuum Technique here. Even Kakuzu's Wind Release: Pressure Damage isn't here. However, Wind Release: Infinite Breakthrough Technique should have a similar effect, and it will be easy to learn."
"Besides that, the worst part is that there are only four Rank B Wind Release Ninjutsu here: Wind Sword Technique, Wind Torpedo Technique, and Whirlwind Trap Technique."
"Among them, Whirlwind Trap Technique seems useless. And Wind Sword Technique looks like an advanced version of Trade Wind Blade Technique. However, its effect is much weaker than my sword. But I should still learn it because it's easy to learn."

He left a Shadow Clone to continue reading the remaining Ninjutsu in depth, then flashed away.

"Are there any Training Grounds available now?"
The Genin in charge nodded and asked,
"What do you plan to train?"

"Wind Release Ninjutsu."
The Genin looked at the chart and said,
"You can use Training Grounds number 23. How long do you need it for?"
Feng Zheng replied,
"Until nine in the evening."
The Genin recorded the data in his notebook and said,
"Alright, I've booked the Training Grounds for you. The fee is two thousand four hundred ryo. Also, please don't cause a forest fire in the Training Grounds."
Feng Zheng nodded and paid the money.
He checked the map in the room, found the location of Training Grounds number 23, and then left.
Training Grounds number 23 was located in the southwest of Konoha. It was quite far from the residential area.
Upon arriving, Feng Zheng found that the trees here were very tall and extremely thick. Feng Zheng looked around and thought to himself,
"I don't think ordinary Wind Release Ninjutsu can uproot these trees. But pressurized and enhanced ones should be able to break them."
Feng Zheng spread out his Chakra Field to ensure no one was monitoring him. He didn't sense anyone.
He performed some Hand Seals and cast Infinite Breakthrough Technique.
He exhaled a very strong gust of wind. Immediately, a small storm formed on the Training Grounds. After a few minutes, it gradually dissipated.
Feng Zheng analyzed,
"Not bad. Unlike Great Breakthrough Technique, which only focuses on creating strong winds, Infinite Breakthrough Technique also creates storms. The scroll says that if used in desert conditions, it might cause a sandstorm, especially if the user is a powerful Ninja. Similarly, on water, it has the potential to cause a hurricane."

"I also need to practice casting this Ninjutsu without Hand Seals. But this shouldn't be too difficult."
He walked to a tree, made a few Hand Seals, and cast Wind Sword Technique.
Immediately, strong winds blew around him, hitting the tree. Four deep sword marks appeared on the tree. Feng Zheng analyzed,
"Simple! Just as I expected. The Chakra requirement is also very low. The advantage of this Ninjutsu is that it can be used without swinging a sword. So, once I can use this Ninjutsu without any Hand Seals, I can use it to surprise attack opponents, especially when they are too focused on my sword."
He left that tree, made a few more Hand Seals, and cast Wind Torpedo Technique.
An invisible torpedo made of wind slowly formed in front of him. It moved towards another tree and hit it. It exploded upon impact!
The tree shook violently! The trunk was damaged, but barely not destroyed.
Feng Zheng analyzed,
"This is too slow. This Ninjutsu is somewhat different from my previous Wind Release Ninjutsu. However, the amazing thing about this Ninjutsu is that it is very quiet. It made almost no sound until impact, and no wind blew out from the Ninjutsu."
"So if I can increase its speed, this would be a very good sneak attack Ninjutsu. However, using this Ninjutsu in a 1v1 battle might be difficult. Any excellent opponent would easily dodge it. This Ninjutsu cannot solve my problem of needing a lethal mid-to-long-range Ninjutsu."
Feng Zheng thought for a moment and decided,
"For now, I'll practice Wind Sword Technique and Infinite Breakthrough Technique. As for Wind Torpedo Technique, I'll decide after learning new Ninjutsu from Hiruzen and Renjiro. They both should realize that I need such a Ninjutsu. So, I wouldn't be surprised if they arranged something for me."
Feng Zheng trained the two Ninjutsu for the next six hours until his Chakra finally began to deplete.
He leaned against a tree and chuckled,
"The Hand Seals for both of these Ninjutsu have been reduced to just one. Soon I'll be able to cast these Ninjutsu without Hand Seals."
He looked up at the sky and thought,
"It's been about 6 hours since I started training. Now is the time."
He sat in a Meditation posture, recovering his Chakra.
Twenty minutes later, the Shadow Clone in the Library dissipated on its own. Feng Zheng received his memories and Chakra.
He received detailed information on all Rank B Ninjutsu and gained the memory of the Earth Release: Earth Flow Wall Hand Seals.
Feng Zheng was somewhat surprised by this information.
There were two ways to cast this Ninjutsu. One was to spit out mud, form a wall with it, and harden it with Chakra. The second was to slam hands on the ground and use it to create a wall.
Feng Zheng thought to himself,
"Hmm... The first one would be more difficult for me, and I already have Wind Whirlwind Shield Technique, so it's best to focus only on the second method."
He continued to Meditate for another 40 minutes. After recovering enough Chakra, he stood up and made a few Hand Seals. He slammed his hands on the ground and cast Earth Flow Wall Technique.
A wall 5 meters wide, 2.5 meters high, and about 30 centimeters thick rose from the ground. Feng Zheng inspected the wall and concluded,
"Not bad. But I need to improve the formation speed of this Ninjutsu, but the defense should be good. I'll test it now."
He created a Wind Clone and left it behind the wall. He walked to the other side and cast Wind Blast Technique.
He threw a Feng Bao Qiu (Wind Burst Ball) at the wall, and other than a few scratches, the wall sustained no damage.
He smiled and threw a few more Exploding Tags, which exploded on the wall, leaving a few cracks on the surface. But the wall remained solid.
He made a few more Hand Seals and cast Wind Torpedo Technique.
The Wind Torpedo launched towards where the Exploding Tags had exploded. It impacted and exploded, creating a huge dent in the wall. The dent was about 20 centimeters deep!
Feng Zheng analyzed,
"Hmm, so the combination of Wind Torpedo Technique and Exploding Tags was almost enough to destroy the wall. If I inject more Chakra into the wall, it should be able to withstand most Ninjutsu attacks, except for large-scale Ninjutsu, and perhaps Lightning Release Ninjutsu."
He then cast a normal Great Breakthrough Technique. Due to the scale of the Ninjutsu, the wind bypassed the wall and hit his Wind Clone, dispersing it. The result was as Feng Zheng expected.
Feng Zheng spent the rest of the day training until his Chakra was depleted, then ate dinner and went home.
