Hearing Hodaka's reply, Feng Zheng sighed in his heart, 'No wonder he could keep up with me so easily.'
Hodaka, however, felt pleased, thinking, 'Although his Sealing Jutsu is better, I'm putting more pressure on my own body!'
Mieko was distraught, thinking, 'No wonder these two move so fast. Why didn't anyone tell me about this method of getting stronger?'
Renjiro thought to himself, 'This is truly impressive. It seems I can make their physical training even more rigorous than I planned.'
He then said, 'Alright, let's start training.'
Team 3 began their first training session under their new teacher.
Everyone was enthusiastic. Receiving personal training from an Elite Jonin would be incredibly beneficial for their future growth.
Whatever their future dreams, becoming an Elite Jonin was the minimum requirement they aimed to achieve.
Only after that would they consider making their dreams a reality.
For the first 30 minutes, all three were full of energy.
In the next 30 minutes, their enthusiasm gradually faded.
After an hour, Mieko could barely keep up with the training.
Even the stoic Hodaka could clearly see her desperately trying to hold back tears.
Hodaka could still keep up and was the only one looking forward to the next three hours.
Feng Zheng could also keep up, but he had a very bad feeling.
Two hours later, Feng Zheng deeply regretted his decision from that morning. He thought, 'Which damn idiot thought of setting the Sealing Jutsu pressure to a damn 25% for the morning run to this Training Grounds?'
When the training finally ended at 9 AM, Hodaka and Feng Zheng collapsed to the ground, barely able to move a muscle.
Mieko had already fainted earlier.
Neither Feng Zheng nor Hodaka knew exactly when Renjiro had picked her up and placed her under a tree.
Feng Zheng wanted to shout for a 'Children Protection Act,' but he was too exhausted even to think about it.
He noticed Mieko woke up a few minutes after training ended, which somehow felt suspicious.
Seeing this, Renjiro chuckled to himself. He said, 'Don't overreact. This was just a simple morning exercise. Get up now and stretch under that tree.'
The two of them barely managed to stand, staggering to the trees, where they sat with their backs against the trunks.
Then, Renjiro threw a few ration bars and a water bottle to the three, saying, 'You can rest here for the next hour. Eat these ration bars and hydrate yourselves, preferably after half an hour. I will come to see you again at 10 o'clock.'
Then he used Body Flicker Technique and left.
As soon as he left, Feng Zheng and Hodaka slid down to sleep. This angered Mieko, who loudly declared, 'Wake up, you two! We can't sleep all day!'
This woke the two of them up. Hodaka replied dismissively, 'We didn't sleep for over an hour during training.'
Feng Zheng then added in the same tone, 'Yeah, wake us up in thirty to forty minutes.'
Then they both lay back down to sleep.
Mieko was angry and made some noise, but both were too tired to pay any attention to her antics.
About half an hour later, Mieko woke the two of them up.
As soon as they woke, they ate the ration bars and drank all the water from their bottles.
The short nap had somewhat restored their energy, but it did little to alleviate the muscle pain throughout their bodies.
Feng Zheng sighed and said, 'I feel like every muscle in my body is aching.'
Hodaka replied, 'Yes, me too. I don't think this soreness will go away quickly.'
Feng Zheng responded, 'Especially if we have to do this every morning.'
This statement startled both Hodaka and Mieko. Mieko asked, 'No way? Unlike you two, I didn't even last through the entire training! How can we do this every day?'
Feng Zheng chuckled inwardly, thinking, 'Poor girl. She's completely terrified! Hahaha. But this teacher... I was disappointed that I didn't get to meet Might Guy and learn from him back then. But now it seems not meeting him might not have been a bad thing. Even though this training is already crazy, Might Guy's training would probably be much harder. Otherwise, he couldn't have mastered the Eight Gates Formation to the Eighth Gate!'
Hodaka comforted Mieko, saying, 'Don't worry, I've been doing this kind of physical training for many years. After a while, our bodies will get used to it, and the results are worth it.'
This calmed Mieko down a little. However, Feng Zheng thought, 'Now that I think about it, this is a good opportunity to temper her Uchiha arrogance a bit.'
He countered, saying, 'I don't think this will be the case with Renjiro-sensei. If we are satisfied with this training, he might change it. Even if that's not the case, he can make us increase the pressure on our bodies.'

Hodaka said, 'Yes, we can do that. Others can't check.'
Feng Zheng smiled faintly and said, 'Even if he can't check, he'll judge by how exhausted we are after training. So, even though we can fake the pressure, I don't think it's possible for us to fool an Elite Jonin about the difficulty of the training.'
After being refuted again, Hodaka wondered what Feng Zheng was thinking. He thought, 'I'm trying everything to make her feel better, but Feng Zheng is making her more and more scared.'
He thought for a moment but couldn't come up with anything, so he just said, 'Forget it, I don't care. However, a single physical training session has pushed me to this point. It seems I need to get stronger!'
Mieko tried to come up with more ideas but couldn't. She had a thought in her mind and decided to ask her teammates.
'Can we ask the teacher to lower the difficulty of the training?'
However, her pride wouldn't allow her to say such a thing. She decided, 'Alright. I will work harder and strengthen my physique! I was the only one who graduated from our class, which shows I'm much better than others. No training can stop me from achieving my dreams!'
Feng Zheng didn't notice the determined expressions on his two teammates. His body was still too sore to pay much attention to them.
However, someone else did notice.
Renjiro was hiding nearby, watching his young students.
Seeing Hodaka and Mieko's determined looks, he smiled and thought, 'Excellent! With this resolve, their strength will increase very quickly. Unfortunately, Feng Zheng doesn't seem as determined.'
