“I’ll be going shopping with Xiaopi later; there are no more food and ingredients at home. We also have to get some couplets and auspicious decorations. You may go home,” Han Jiangxue said.
“Don’t chase me away,” Xia Yan said meekly, completely unlike her flustered self previously.
Han Jiangxue said in displeasure, “I’m not driving you away. Today is the 30th of the lunar month and you should be going home to spend the Lunar New Year with Uncle and Auntie.”
Xia Yan looked at Han Jiangxue pitifully and said feebly, “You… you and Xiaopi come home with me, then.”
