Western Sea, a dangerous maritime region, under a sky of endless blue.
Seagulls cawed loudly as they soared high in the sky.
Seven or eight warships cut through the waves of the deep blue sea, their sails billowing in the wind.
Luca sat on the deck, holding a fishing rod, lazily enjoying the sea breeze and the warm sunlight, thoroughly relaxed.
“Report, Lord Luca! We’ve entered the Azure Waters, and we should reach Snake Island by this afternoon,” Isaac, dressed in a sailor’s outfit, said breathlessly, running over with Seven.
Standing behind Luca, they both respectfully saluted and reported on the current course and position.
A closer look would reveal that both young men had several specially crafted shackles on their hands and feet.
The runes on them shimmered, sealing away all their energy and power.
These were the same magical restraining shackles typically used to imprison dangerous criminals, but Luca had repurposed them for training these two boys.
No matter whether they were sleeping, stoking the furnace, or carrying heavy loads, they were not allowed to remove them.
The results, however, had been impressive.
Over the past period, both of them had felt their strength growing every day.
This made them both admire and look up to this young lord—who was only a year older than them but had such remarkable abilities—more and more.
“I didn’t expect we’d reach it this quickly. Tell all the soldiers to prepare,” Luca yawned, continuing to lazily fish.
His relaxed posture made one wonder whether he truly had absolute confidence in his victory when facing the Furious Shark Evans.
“Luca, you’re so laid-back,” came a voice from one of the ships, the only person who dared speak so casually to him.
“Senior, proper relaxation is also a form of cultivation. Overworking oneself with nothing but training can make one weary and lose motivation,” Luca replied with a smile. He then stood up, tightening the fishing rod in his hand and casting it upwards with a sudden jerk.
Boom!!
The sea exploded with a massive crash, and the sky instantly darkened.
To everyone’s astonishment, a black shark, over a hundred meters in length, was yanked up out of the water by Luca!
It soared through the air in a graceful arc before crashing down onto the deck of the warship with a tremendous force.
The entire ship shook violently from the impact.
Tark, who had been dozing off at his desk, was jolted awake with a start. He shot up in panic.
“Enemy… attack?!” he shouted, his face a mix of confusion and alarm as he rushed out of his office, thinking they were under assault. But when he stepped outside, the bright, clear sky greeted him. He scratched his head, sighing, and returned to his office, convinced he had just been dreaming.
On the deck, Isaac and Seven watched the grotesque, vicious-looking Devil Shark, its fangs as sharp as arrows, and couldn’t help but swallow hard, their throats dry. Isaac spoke hoarsely, “Is this the power of Lord Luca, the Count?”
Because, in front of them was a high-tier Elite monster!
Yet, in Luca’s hands, it was caught effortlessly, as if it were just a small fish.
From this, they could see just how terrifying Luca’s strength really was!
“How about you give it a try, Senior?” Luca turned around and offered the fishing rod to Sophia.
But all he received in return was a cold, unamused look.
Luca could only shrug helplessly. The past few days, he and Susie had been in a sweet phase of their relationship, not wanting to be apart for a second. Naturally, he hadn’t spent much time focusing on the game.
Although Luca knew that giving in to desires would only lead him down the path of corruption, weakening him instead of making him stronger, he couldn’t simply sleep with Susie and act like nothing had happened. He couldn’t ignore her feelings either.
Otherwise, he’d just be a total scumbag, right?
Fine. Luca admitted to himself that these were excuses he had come up with, and he was guilty.
It was Susie’s fault for being so irresistible, for making him feel like he was holding a personal-sized, warm body pillow whenever he cuddled with her while sleeping. She was soft and comforting.

However, Luca had recently done some serious soul-searching and realized that his behavior was wrong. He had decided to draw a clear line with his desires and make healthier plans moving forward.
Through some research Susie did, they discovered that Sunday was the day with the highest global pregnancy rate. So, from now on, every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night, Luca would sleep with Susie, and every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, Susie would sleep with Luca. On Sundays, they’d work together on their human-made projects.
With this schedule, Luca’s life finally returned to normal.
And he had more time to focus on improving his strength.
In the past few days, he had been working on his power—fishing one day, training the next. He had finally reached level 48.
Just one more step and he would be ready for the Awakening Trial, officially entering the high-tier ranks.
Of course, Luca’s high-tier would be different from others’.
For most, high-tier meant Elite monsters. But for him, it would be the Lord-level monsters. While others aspired to be Elite, he would aim for the Superclass Leader.
If all went as planned, after his awakening, Luca would likely be invincible under the Superclass tier.

“Be careful of the Furious Green-eyed Sharks! There’s a swarm of them ahead! Prepare for battle!” someone shouted angrily. At the mention of the name, the faces of the other sailors and navy soldiers were filled with fear.
Luca looked in the direction they were pointing, and sure enough, in the distance, he could see blood-red fins breaking the surface of the water.
Through the sea, he could faintly make out pairs of bright green eyes staring up from below.
The reason the area was called the “Blue Water Sea” was because it was home to a high-tier, pack-dwelling monster species known as the “Furious Green-eyed Sharks.”
With their razor-sharp fins, these creatures could easily slice through over seventy percent of the hulls of ships.
And once the sailors were stranded in the water, they were no longer sailors—they were just prey for the sea floor.
Luca did not hesitate for a second. He immediately gave the order: “All ships, listen up! Charge forward, do not stop!”
His voice rang across the entire sea, causing everyone to pause in shock.
Did they hear that right?
Charge forward? Was he serious?!
These were Furious Green-eyed Sharks! Charging straight at them like this would mean their ship’s hulls would be sliced to ribbons!
“Lord of the city, we can’t charge forward!” Nicholas exclaimed, thinking that Luca didn’t understand the danger these monsters posed. “Our ships can’t withstand the attack of these Furious Green-eyed Sharks!”
Tark, too, was worried. “Nicholas is right. Every year, countless ships are sunk by these creatures, and many of them are more advanced than our own. Lord, we should turn the ship around!”
The helmsmen and sailors, who had spent many years at sea.
Also spoke up, recounting the terrible history of these vicious monsters.
However, Luca merely smiled calmly in response. “Don’t worry. Leave these monsters to me.”
Before anyone could respond, his figure had already vanished.
When he reappeared, he was hovering high above the swarm of Furious Green-eyed Sharks.
As soon as the sharks saw the unexpected visitor, they immediately took notice of Luca’s presence.
Their exposed fins suddenly gleamed with a bronze hue.
In the next instant, sharp bronze strikes, like the edge of swords, sliced through the air and sped toward Luca in the sky.
These sea monsters didn’t just attack in the water.
Most sea creatures had the ability to strike airborne targets, and the Furious Green-eyed Shark was one of them.
“Luca, be careful!” The others watched, their hearts tightening as Luca was surrounded by the incoming attacks.
Even Sophia furrowed her brows in concern.
With so many high-tier monsters attacking at once, even a Superclass professional might not survive such an onslaught!
This guy is still so impulsive and reckless.
But just as everyone was about to rush in to help Luca.
The next scene that unfolded left everyone stunned and rooted to the spot.
High above in the sky, Luca’s gaze flickered with a cold gleam, and a strange pattern seemed to appear, faintly outlining his figure.

Sophia, watching from the sidelines, was taken aback.
It wasn’t the first time Luca had copied her abilities.
But what surprised her wasn’t that.
It was that Luca’s control over ice powers was even more refined than hers.
After all, ice was just one of Luca’s many abilities.
Her eyes flickered with a complex expression.
At that moment, a voice full of interest came from the ring on her finger. “It’s the Fate-Swapping Master, the professional who wields the authority of deceit,” Zenobia said, sounding intrigued. “This boy really does have good fortune.”
For Zenobia, who had seen the brilliance of the Divine Court, to say something like that was already remarkable in itself.
Moreover, the higher authority of deception was Fate, a supreme law on the same level as the authority of Sin and Desire.
