The seven heads burst out with lasers that conjoined halfway and enhanced into a thicker, more powerful version of laser that shot at the party blindingly fast.
Meanwhile, Admiral Rudra smashed his fists together as a semi-glassy blue sphere expanded from him, covering the whole group.
*BOOM!*
The laser struck and scattered into motes upon impact, unable to breach the barrier.
But Almond reducing its Perception actually lowered that boss monster’s skill’s rank, making its execution weaker.
Nevertheless, Almond could feel that even if he didn’t cut off the boss monster’s Perception, the barrier would still block it.
‘It seems that my willpower is not affected when I halve the mini-boss monster’s stats, too. Good. Next testing on the Dungeon Boss.’
“I’ll stop its action, you two strike it,” Liang said as a crackling blue aura surged from him, and his fists glowed.
His magic aura shot up into the sky, forming a dark cloud above the boss monster that crackled with lightning and silhouettes of roaring wingless dragons.
In the next second, seven dragons burst out of the clouds and struck the seven heads.
Right after that, Bianca aimed her rifle at it and used some kind of skill that created something dark to the leftmost side and right-most right in the same line as the boss monster.
Almond saw those things and raised his eyebrows.
‘They look like dark mirrors…is it her skill?’
Just as Almond identified the mirrors, Bianca pulled the trigger.
Her rifle glimmered with purple and blue patterns, unleashing a black drilling bullet spiraled by a purple and blue thread vortex.
At the same time, the dark mirrors also unleashed the same bullet, piercing through the seven giant heads that were stunned by Liang Zhou’s attack.
All three bullets formed “T” together, hitting each other at the same time in the middle head.

Seven heads exploded while the middle three heads entirely vanished, obliterated.
‘Holy hell…What kind of attack was that? A powerful weapon art and combat art for sure!’ Almond’s eyes sparkled as he could see she executed multiple things for this single powerful attack.
‘Her Dark elemental Mastery is well beyond S rank for sure with a powerful variant, and she has to have more, just like Admiral Rudra,’ Almond rubbed his nose. ‘Old monsters have a way higher depth of power and proficiencies indeed.’
But Almond knew Admiral Rudra was a different beast entirely, even from other old monsters. He was half a step into a realm that none of the old monsters had even seen yet.
‘He might be the first one to awaken and also complete his exotic element since he is already defining it purely with his masteries and proficiency of Mana and elements.’
That blue-glassy dimensional energy that looked as if exotic shapes of geometry stuck together that Admiral Rudra wielded was scary, to say the least, since it had entirely obliterated his Catastrophic Strike, not just because it was more powerful and had more energy, but it even broke the destructive and void power.
Almond’s eyes glinted. ‘And one thing is for sure now that I know that something like ‘Intent’ exists thanks to Whispering Knowledge skill training. These old monsters have comprehended some kinds of ‘Intents’ that are boosting their combat powers to a new level, especially Admiral Rudra. That barrier had it, and the attack that destroyed my Catastrophic Strike also had it.’
“Get on, everyone. I got the Magic Core, so it’s time to move in that palace and beat the final boss,” Liang Zhou returned on his huge flying wingless dragon after taking the Magic Core of that boss monster.
Everyone jumped on it as the dragon streaked towards the palace.
“You better fight with a sword this time and show us how good you are since Rudra Grams praised you, humph,” Valentina snuffed up her nose with a stank expression. “Don’t be boring.”
“Sure, just don’t be discouraged,” Almond snickered.
“Bwahaha, I like your confidence. I’m waiting to be surprised,” Sun laughed.

The dragon landed outside the palace gates on the exotic transparent crystal ground with glittering blue and gold lava flowing beneath it.
As the party walked towards the palace gates, two statues of bulky blue-gold crystal humanoids wielding axes cracked and moved.
Everyone paused.
Their bodies had vein-like patterns that streamed glittering lava liquid mix of blue and gold, extending even to their weapons.
A strange barrier extended from the two, creating a big box of 100 meters square.
[Only two people will be allowed to enter the box to fight. Defeat the Trampling Helix Guard and Gain Access to the Palace.]

Bianca’s eyes flickered as if she was analyzing something before she nodded, “Go, Valentina.”
“Nice,” Valentina grinned as she turned to Almond. “Come, wear your armor set.”
“I won’t need it,” Almond chuckled as he walked inside the box and took out his legendary gear set’s sword. “This sword is enough.”
Everyone inspected the sword, and their eyes widened in shock.

Bianca raised their eyebrows. ‘But it looks a bit different.’
In that instant, ten golden slashes crackling with lightning formed in the air before striking the Trampling Helix Guard.

The monster was sliced into pieces and scattered, only its Magic Core remained.
