Chapter 14
There was no one in the feminine bedroom, and Feng Sheng looked around the room for a while. When he was about to leave, his gaze fell onto a medicine box that was on the dresser.
He picked up the box and read the letters written on it. His handsome face became tense.
He turned his head and noticed the closed toilet door. Taking the box into his hand, he hurried over.
Luo Yangyang was crouched on the toilet floor, and her eyes were staring at the pregnancy test that was on the white ceramic tiles.
Staring at the single red line of the pregnancy test, she was extremely nervous. She was afraid that a second red line would appear.
Abruptly, the toilet door was slammed open with a loud ‘bang’ in the midst of her nervousness.
Luo Yangyang was feeling all kinds of guilt, and she was alarmed by the loud noise. She did not have time to see who was the one who had come in. Hence, she grabbed the pregnancy test urgently and hid it behind her after standing up.
Then, she saw Feng Sheng’s tall and lean figure standing at the door. Luo Yangyang gripped the pregnancy test tightly in her hands and shivered. “B-Bro.”
Why was Feng Sheng in her room?
What did he want?
“Give it.” Feng Sheng’s eyes were icy on his handsome face. His gaze landed on Luo Yangyang’s hands that were behind her back.
“W-What do you mean? I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Luo Yangyang contained her nervous gaze as she began to clench the pregnancy test that was behind her even tighter.
She did not want to get pregnant. If she really was pregnant, she did not want Feng Sheng to know. She was scared that he would want her to give birth to his child.
She was still young, and she was still a child herself. Hence, she did not want to give birth at such a young age.
However, when she thought about the possibility of life growing inside her belly, she felt reluctant to end its life in the midst of her fear and anxiousness.
She was on the edge of breaking under Feng Sheng’s threatening aura, and her brain was stuck in the gutter as she felt extremely conflicted.
With a small “thud”, Feng Sheng threw the medicine box next to Luo Yangyang’s feet without saying anything.
When she saw that the item he had thrown was the medicine box, Luo Yangyang felt like her head was about to explode.
Luo Yangyang stared at her feet with her head lowered. Even though she did not lift her head, Feng Sheng could tell from her head and trembling shoulders that she was extremely nervous.
Feng Sheng walked over to her swiftly.
Luo Yangyang could see him making his way toward her. She wanted to back away, but her feet were as heavy as rocks. She could not move an inch.
“Give it.” Feng Sheng stood firmly in front of Luo Yangyang.
The two of them stood not too close yet not too far from each other. Luo Yangyang’s lowered body was so short that she did not even reach his shoulder.
Even with just a single glance, the power dynamic between them was evident. Feng Sheng was definitely the one with more power.
“…” After hearing Feng Sheng’s cold and magnetic voice, Luo Yangyang’s knuckles turned white from clenching the pregnancy test too tightly.
The instruction manual had said that up to three minutes were required for the results to show. She had only waited for two when Feng Sheng barged in.
She was terrified, she was scared that the second line had appeared during the last minute.
After about three seconds, Luo Yangyang continued acting like she had not heard him and did not give him any response. Hence, he grabbed her shoulders and spun her around. Then, when he spotted the pregnancy test in her hand, he grabbed it swiftly.
Regardless of how tight Luo Yangyang had held on to the pregnancy test, she was still defeated by Feng Sheng in the end. She wanted to fight back, but she was afraid to scream. When she felt the pregnancy test left her hand, she turned around urgently and grabbed Feng Sheng’s wrist on her tiptoes. She craned her neck to look at the result of the test with him.
