Chapter 18
Feng Sheng was still in the toilet and thus, no one would be in his room. It would be bad if Luo Yangyang’s mother started getting suspicious after she had called out to him and no one was there to answer.
Hearing Luo Yangyang and her mother’s voice slowly fading away, Feng Sheng remained in the toilet as he leaned against the wall. It was as if he was in deep thought. His face was cold and arrogant, and his eyes were deep like the abyss.
At the dining table, there was Luo Yangyang, Feng Sheng, Luo Yangyang’s mother, and Luo Yangyang’s stepfather. Under the no speaking during dinner rule of the Feng Family, Luo Yangyang felt at ease.
Her appetite increased because Feng Sheng was ignoring her completely. He was pretending like he did not know her.
After dinner, they began chatting in the living room. Feng Sheng did not act out or say anything offensive under the watchful eyes of his family. This calmed Luo Yangyang down significantly.
When it was time for bed, Luo Yangyang began to feel uneasy when she remembered Feng Sheng’s room was right next to her. She purposely locked her bedroom door.
After locking the door, Luo Yangyang sprinted and jumped before she fell onto the bed in a perfect parabola. After that, she rolled around comfortably. “I can finally sleep in peace.”
Luo Yangyang had been tense the whole night because of Feng Sheng, so she was able to sleep after a short while.
In the middle of the night, Luo Yangyang shifted in her bed. It seemed like she could not sleep well; the soft breeze caressed her face occasionally. Perhaps it was because she was cold, so she frowned and opened her eyes.
“Ah!” Luo Yangyang had been sleeping on her side. Under the soft moonlight, the first thing she saw when she opened her eyes was the curtains moving. Under the french windows, there was a black figure. She retreated back into her blankets out of fear.
A ghost!
She was looking at the sellout of a ghost!
Luo Yangyang was terrified. She hid with her head under her blanket, and she began shivering so hard that the blanket also started shaking.
Amidst the quiet night, Feng Sheng heard a scream come from behind him. Feng Sheng slowly turned his head. He could not see Luo Yangyang, instead, all he saw was a shivering blanket protruding from the bed.
It was the first time Luo Yangyang was staying in the mansion and in her room. Hence, she was uneasy about the new environment around her.
Not to mention, she had closed the french windows before she went to sleep, and she had also closed the curtains. However, at that second when she opened her eyes, she saw that the curtains were open along with the window. There was also a suspicious black shadow!
“Luo Yangyang.” Feng Sheng moved toward the bed silently as he stared at the protruding blanket. His tone was cold and emotionless.
Had he scared her?
“Sob…” Hearing a weird noise coming from outside her blanket, Luo Yangyang almost began to cry out of fear. She pleaded while shaking, “Please don’t call my name, I don’t know you. No debts without creditors, no hatred without cause. I’ve never done anything bad my whole life. I’ll burn some paper money for you tomorrow. I’m timid, please stop pestering me.”
“…” Feng Sheng’s eyes darkened. His face immediately turned grim.
Did Luo Yangyang think he was a ghost?
“I’m Feng Sheng!” Feng Sheng pulled away Luo Yangyang’s blanket with a dark look on his face.
“Ah!” A cold breeze hit her, and the blanket that was giving her security was gone. Luo Yangyang hugged her head as she trembled and said incoherently, “Feng Sheng is even scarier than a ghost.”
She was an atheist. Throughout her 18 years of living, the most dangerous person she had ever met was Feng Sheng.
He had already devoured her and still, he wanted to bully her. He was a huge b*stard.
The corner of Feng Sheng’s eyes twitched when he saw Luo Yangyang’s position under the bed. She was kneeling down in fear. However, her whole body was down on the bed and yet her butt was up in the air.
“I’m scarier than a ghost?” Feng Sheng reached out and slapped Luo Yangyang’s butt with a loud smack. Her butt was nice to the touch. It was awesome.
