“Yangyang, you look thinner. Don’t go on diets like other girls. You have to eat more. You’ll look better with some meat on your cheeks.” Feng Qiyue looked at Luo Yangyang affectionately. It looked like he was in a good mood.
Feng Sheng removed his gaze from Luo Yangyang. After peering at Feng Qiyue, his icy stare landed on Luo Yangyang once more.
Even though she was wearing a loose sweater, he knew what she looked like underneath her clothes. He recalled what he saw that night. Even though she had curves in all the right places, she was indeed on the thinner side.
Being under Feng Sheng’s gaze made Luo Yangyang feel uneasy. She felt like she was naked in front of him. She did not dare to look his way either. After giving Feng Qiyue a cute smile, she hurried over to sit next to Luo Ying.
After the maids served them breakfast, the dining table became silent once again. The sound of chatting only started after everyone had finished their breakfast.
“Sheng’er,” Feng Qiyue called out before Feng Sheng could get up to leave for work.
Feng Sheng stopped in his tracks and looked at Feng Qiyue. “Dad.”
Luo Yangyang’s grape-like eyes subconsciously shifted onto Feng Sheng.
Sheng’er?
Luo Yangyang was so baffled by the cute nickname. So this was how his family called him.
Feng Sheng sensed Luo Yangyang’s eyes on him, so he glared at her. He saw Luo Yangyang reverting her gaze in fear. She lowered her head to avoid looking at him.
Luo Yangyang was internally screaming at herself when he caught her looking at him. It was so embarrassing.
“Sheng’er, you’re not young anymore. If there’s a girl you like, you should bring her home,” Feng Qiyue said slowly. He was looking at Feng Sheng with a smile on his face.
Luo Yangyang’s ears perked up. Feng Sheng was being urged to get married so early in the morning.
Luo Yangyang lifted her head to look at Feng Sheng and saw him calmly taking a sip of water. As he looked at Feng Qiyue, he said in a deep voice, “Dad, you know about our family. I have no interest in starting one now. We’ll talk about this in a few years.”
“I’m not asking you to get married now, but you’re 26. If there’s someone suitable, then you can date her first.” Feng Qiyue furrowed his eyebrows.
Feng Sheng was an excellent man. He was well rounded and excelled in a lot of things. Feng Qiyue never had to worry about him since he was young. However, he was an idiot when it came to relationships. As his father, Feng Qiyue was starting to suspect whether he had any hidden diseases that were hindering him from getting a girlfriend.
Many people, from his siblings to his colleague’s children who were the same age as Feng Sheng, had already been in at least one or two relationships.
During the last gathering, he even heard rumors that said Feng Sheng did not like women.
“I understand.” Feng Sheng looked like he did not want to talk about the matter anymore, so he stood up and said, “Dad, I’m going to work.”
When Feng Qiyue saw Feng Sheng standing up to leave, he did not say anything. One could not rush something like this.
“Qiyue, don’t rush Sheng’er anymore. He’s an adult now. He knows what he’s doing. Perhaps he hasn’t met a girl he likes,” said Luo Ying after Feng Sheng left. She saw how Feng Qiyue’s eyebrows were tightly knitted together.
It was normal for a man to fight for his career and not think about starting a family when he was only 26.
“You only say that because you have no idea how things are with him. Sheng’er has never had a girlfriend growing up. I’m starting to wonder if he has no interest in women.” Feng Qiyue looked at Luo Ying with a worried face.
“No way,” Luo Yangyang let out a shocked cry. She widened her eyes in shock.
