Chapter 27
Feng Sheng had his long legs crossed over each other. There was a stack of documents on his lap. He was concentrating on his work with his head lowered. It was as if he did not notice Luo Yangyang’s existence even though she was sitting right next to him.
Luo Yangyang was feeling brave, so she did not shift her gaze from him. She stared at Feng Sheng who did not even as much as throw a glance her way. He completely dismissed her presence in the car. She couold only mutter her complaints in silence.
Feng Sheng had dragged her into the car so forcefully, but now that she was inside, he was blatantly ignoring her. What was he thinking?
Feng Sheng’s face looked like it was carved from marble. Yet, his temperament was so elegant and cavalier.
Luo Yangyang was wondering why he asked her to get into the car with him when he was not even going to talk to her. Soon after, she became distracted with her own thoughts as she continued staring at him.
In the middle of her wandering thoughts, Feng Sheng suddenly lifted his head to look at her. Luo Yangyang blinked her huge eyes in surprise and when she came back to her senses, she finally noticed Feng Sheng looking at her. She got nervous and shifted her gaze away.
That was a wild feeling.
How was it possible that she could get distracted by her own thoughts while looking at him?
“Am I good looking?” Feng Sheng’s face was solemn. He figured that there would not be many who would be able to stare at him so courageously and in such short proximity too. She was not even blinking her eyes.
“No,” Luo Yangyang quickly denied while firmly shaking her head.
Damn it. Would he think that she was boy crazy because of this?
“So I’m not good looking?” Feng Sheng squinted his eyes. A dangerous aura started to fill the air inside the tiny space of the car.
He was still a man, after all. Although it would be inappropriate for Luo Yangyang to say that he was good looking, he still felt unhappy to see her shaking her head at his self-indulgent question.
Luo Yangyang shook her head again and even firmer this time. Under Feng Sheng’s dangerous gaze, however, she had no choice but to say, “Good looking. You’re so good looking. The most good looking one out there.”
If she were a fugitive in ancient times and Feng Sheng was the one in charge of interrogating her, she would only be left with one option and that was to admit to everything no matter how absurd it was.
“Am I old?” Feng Sheng’s eyes turned grimmer. It seemed like he was not satisfied with Luo Yangyang’s answer.
“Not old! You’re not old. Not old at all. You are the best candidate for someone who’s young and full of life!” Luo Yangyang’s face was extremely serious as she spoke, but she was crying out internally.
She did not want to sit in this car. Could she get down?
Fortunately, Feng Sheng did not torment her anymore after looking at her grimly. He turned his attention back to his documents and concentrated on his work for the remainder of the car ride.
After that incident, Luo Yangyang did not dare to look at Feng Sheng anymore. She leaned on the car door to get as far away from him as possible. She looked out the window and tried her best not to look at the person seated next to her in the car.
There was not much traffic on the road, but Luo Yangyang still felt like the entire car ride was such a torture. When the car finally stopped in front of the entrance of the Film Academy, she quickly grabbed the door handle to get out of the car.
“Did you forget something?” Feng Sheng lifted his gaze. He finally said something after being quiet for the whole trip.
Luo Yangyang’s hand froze. Suddenly, she did not have the courage to open the door anymore. She turned her head weakly to look at Feng Sheng. Her grape-like eyes appeared confused and puzzled.
What did she forget?
Was there something she needed to remember?
She did not think so.
Feng Sheng glared at the confused Luo Yangyang and moved his gaze toward her full and alluring lips. “Shouldn’t you do something before you exit the car?”
When she noticed Feng Sheng’s gaze shifting to another part of her body, the confusion in her eyes disappeared as she realized what was happening.
She subconsciously pressed her lips together. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest. It was beating faster and faster by the second.
Bastard Feng Sheng. Was he asking her to kiss him? Was he really asking her to give him a passionate kiss goodbye?
Did a donkey kick his head or something?
“Um, bro, I have to go to class now. If it’s nothing urgent, I’ll just-”
She did not get the chance to say the last few words as she was interrupted by Feng Sheng.
