Chapter 31
There was a red light in front of them. Feng Sheng immediately stepped on the brakes without warning, making Luo Yangyang’s entire body lurch forward from the inertia. She almost crashed into the windshield.
Luo Yangyang grabbed onto the handle with one hand and the seatbelt in front of her chest with another. Her heart had almost leaped out of her chest from shock.
Luo Yangyang’s back was slammed against the seat from the force. Realizing just how dangerous Feng Sheng’s reckless stunt was, she turned her head and shouted at Feng Sheng, “Feng Sheng! Are you insane?”
She was just having a business discussion with Hua Yifei when he appeared out of nowhere to take her away. After that, he drove so fast for no reason. Did she do something to provoke him?
He was crazy!
Feng Sheng’s eyes that were as black as the night when he turned to look at Luo Yangyang.
Luo Yangyang’s shoulders shrunk under his sharp gaze. Her anger dissipated immediately. It was as if she had never been angry.
Feng Sheng did not shift his eyes. He looked askance at her like she was a kid who had done something wrong. Luo Yangyang shifted her eyes guiltily. She shrunk her shoulders and lowered her head.
Luo Yangyang sat quietly and obediently on the passenger seat. She was fidgeting with her fingers from nervousness while trying her best to calm down her beating heart.
Under Feng Sheng’s power, Luo Yangyang who was in shock did not dare to do anything. She did curse him a few times in her heart, however.
He was the one who was driving so fast and almost got them into an accident, but now he was glaring at her?
Was he crazy?
If she was not in the car, she would not have cared about whatever dangerous stunt he wanted to pull. In fact, It would be great if he were to die in an accident.
Luo Yangyang’s face was pale. Under the faint streetlight that was coming in from the window, her face looked translucent.
Feng Sheng could clearly see her thick eyelashes trembling. Her bright eyes were erratic and her lips were pursed into a straight line. She was in shock.
Shifting his gaze away from her, Feng Sheng focused on the red light in front of him. His grip on the steering wheel relaxed, but his black eyes were still cold as ice. No one would be able to figure out what he was thinking about.
Inside the small space of the car, the atmosphere between them was at a freezing point.
When the light turned green, Luo Yangyang lifted her hand subconsciously and grabbed onto the handle tightly.
Feng Sheng peered at her with the corner of his eyes. When the car started once again, it was cruising at a much slower speed. They were driving at normal speed now.
Colour returned to Luo Yangyang’s face after the car slowed down. She secretly let out a sigh of relief and looked at Feng Sheng.
His face was cold as always. His angular face was like his person and personality, cold as an iceberg and unfriendly.
“Who allowed you to have dinner with him?” Feng Sheng’s icy voice broke the silence in the car.
His voice was hypnotic. His voice itself was actually very pleasant, but the icy tone he used would make the listener nervous and want to submit to him.
Luo Yangyang’s obsidian eyes blinked a few times and when she came back to her senses, she realized that he was talking about Hua Yifei.
On the topic of Hua Yifei, Luo Yangyang suddenly remembered something more important. “My phone is still in your car!” Luo Yangyang exclaimed and turned around to look at the backseat.
The backseat was empty. She did not see her phone, but Luo Yangyang did not give up. She held the back of her seat with her left hand and stretched her whole body to the back in search of her phone.
When Teacher Wen called her, she said a man had picked up the call. From the tone of her voice, she thought that Luo Yangyang was dating around like the other girls in her performance class. She was so dispirited by this.
The car was moving and Luo Yangyang was climbing into the backseat without a care in the world. Feng Sheng looked at her butt that was up in the air and slapped it with a loud ‘smack’. He said coldly, “Sit down.”
Luo Yangyang’s whole body shuddered. Her butt stung from the slap. Even though Feng Sheng slapped her butt quite hard, she felt more ashamed than she did the pain.
After the slap, she recalled the previous night when Feng Sheng had spanked her twice. Luo Yangyang weakly drew back her hand that was fumbling on the backseat and sat back down.
She was an adult and she still got spanked. It was so humiliating.
Luo Yangyang was furious. She wanted to scream at Feng Sheng and tell him to stop spanking her.
However, she did not have the courage to do so after peering at his cold face.
When they stopped at another red light, Feng Sheng turned and looked at Luo Yangyang with a piercing gaze. He sounded unfriendly when he said, “You didn’t answer my question.”
