Leave of Absence Request
Yesterday, I attended a launch ceremony out of town and will be rushing home soon, so I won't have time to write today. Therefore, I'm requesting a leave of absence. Actually, I was also on a high-speed train yesterday, and that chapter was written overnight the day before yesterday.
I'm almost thirty years old. Although I still look like a handsome, youthful lad with rosy lips and white teeth, my body really can't handle staying up late anymore, so I can only rest for a day.
Also, I'd like to discuss my recent writing experience.
Xianxia creation is a new path for me. It's not as easy as urban novels, so the time spent designing plots and revising after writing is far more than my previous book, and my efficiency has slowed down considerably.
However, this book is very important to me, even more important than my last book.
Because it maintains my fresh perspective on writing as a job and endlessly exposes my strengths and weaknesses, allowing me to constantly reflect and gain new insights.
Truly, most of the time, people don't understand themselves; they need a mirror.
In fact, the urban novel path was also something I explored step by step using this 'clumsy' method.
It's been a mix of good and bad over the past six months, but I'm quite satisfied because I can feel that I've gained a lot.
