Red Date, Longan and Wolfberry Tea
Jian Dan did not sleep well last night and woke up at 4 a.m..
After washing up, she went downstairs. When she saw Uncle Zhang, she asked, “Uncle Zhang, has Uncle not returned?”

Jian Dan put the red date, longan, and wolfberry tea she made into a thermos flask. After she had her breakfast, she went to Chu Liyuan’s office…
Because it was very early, there were not many cars on the road. They arrived at the company very quickly.
Jian Dan asked Uncle Zhang to go back first. She would go straight to work later.
After saying goodbye to Uncle Zhang, Jian Dan entered the building. Because of what happened last night, the security guards knew her and did not stop her. They greeted her and let Jian Dan in.
Jian Dan took the elevator to the 33rd floor, but she did not go to Chu Liyuan’s office. Instead, she paced back and forth in the corridor… until… “Are you here to look for Mr. Chu?” Li Jing appeared out of nowhere and saw her.
Why was she here again so early in the morning? And why wasn’t she going in? Why was she standing in the corridor instead?

This young lady was looking for him instead of Mr. Chu? If Mr. Chu found out, wouldn’t he skin him alive?

Li Jing was Chu Liyuan’s special assistant. He was with him every day, so it was best to leave some things to him.

“Help me pass this breakfast to Uncle. You must watch him finish it. Also, this is the red date, longan, and wolfberry tea I made. It’s good for his health. Let him drink some. After Jian Dan left, Li Jing entered Chu Liyuan’s office with the things that Jian Dan had given him. Chu Liyuan was reading the documents seriously, so he did not notice that Li Jing was holding something in his hand. “Li Jing, pour me a cup of coffee.”

“This is red date, longan, and wolfberry tea. Your young lady delivered it early in the morning. She said it was good for your health and wanted you to finish it all.” He placed the thermos flask on Chu Liyuan’s table. “There’s also breakfast!” He pointed at the breakfast on the other side.
