Chapter 119: Welcome to the Fiend Palace (II)
Surrounded by menacing cliffs, the Fiend Palace was located at the top of the mountain, pointing straight to the firmament like a sword. The grand palace was built by scarlet bricks, as if it was forged by blood.
The team met the mountain guard of the Fiend Palace when they arrived at the foothill.
The guard was a middle-stage Body Fusion Period cultivator. He frowned in reprimand when he saw He Xiao, but still delivered the message to the Fiend Palace.
Soon, permission was given, allowing them to climb up, but, to their surprise, nobody came down to welcome them, given that they were all important figures of their sects. Duan Hun Sect’s second Elder couldn’t bear to be treated like this, so he took out the flying item, intending to fly to the destination. Nevertheless, he only made one meter before he was knocked down by a black blade shadow.
Though holding Da Sheng Period cultivation base, the Elder was stopped solely by a blade shadow. A quite embarrassing thing.
Looking up, they saw a Fiend Cultivator dressed in pearl-while sitting on a branch of an already dead tree, carrying a gigantic blade even bigger than himself. He was looking at them with a winsome beam. He was a gorgeous guy, owning a kind of beauty different from Luo Jianqing’s elegance, nor like Bai Ji’s handsomeness. This Fiend Cultivator was almost as comely as a woman. There was no doubt that he would be mistaken as one, if only his chest wasn’t that flat.
Staring at him, Luo Jianqing frowned and thought, ‘He is quite good-looking, but still not as beautiful as Mo Qiu. However… are all Fiend Cultivators this gorgeous?’
Luo Jianqing moved his gaze to that tall, muscular man, He Xiao, and immediately shook his head, discarding the guess. ‘Maybe not, a living counter-example is right in front of me.’
Before He Xiao could introduce the arriver for them, the Second Elder of Duan Hun Sect shouted at that Fiend Cultivator, “Qin Guihe! What do you mean by that?! We come here to greet the Fiend Exalt, how dare you stop us!”
Hearing this, Luo Jianqing was slightly stunned, and then raised his eyes to look at the Fiend Cultivator who was called “Qin Guihe”. The latter smiled and glanced over the Second Elder of Duan Hun Sect, “What do I mean? Ask yourself! Old fart Gui Yi, I just don’t like you from the first place. Are you deaf or what? I told you to climb up to the top. CLIMB! Piss off if you think you are not gonna make it to the mountain top!”
Luo Jianqing, “…”
How come this guy… with such a charming voice and beauty, spoke in a manner that was so…straight forward?
Elder Gui Yi was irritated, “You!”
Qin Guihe just ignored him. Sitting on the tree, he took out a bottle of liqueur and even toasted to him.
After all, they were stepping on the Fiend Realm, and the Fiend Palace was no pushover. They had no choice but to climb.
However, before he could take more steps, Luo Jianqing was stopped by Qin Guihe, who asked, “Hey, you! That lad dressed in bice, are you Luo Jianqing of Tai Hua Mountain?”
Luo Jianqing halted, and the whole team stopped as well, all looked at him, even Yu Qingzi was staring at him in surprise. Luo Jianqing, however, looked towards Qin Guihe in confusion, “I am Luo Jianqing, disciple of Tai Hua Mountain. Can I help you with anything?”
Qin Guihe waved his wrist, and the liqueur disappeared in a blink. He brandished the giant blade at Luo Jianqing and dashed it forward. Yu Qingzi was alerted and stepped in front of Luo Jianqing immediately. Nonetheless, she knew very well that Qin Guihe was a much powerful cultivator than her, but she still said, “Is this a declaration of war from Fiend Palace?!”
Qin Guihe stopped, smiling in a strange way, “I am… offering him a ride to the mountain top, because I like him.”
Everyone was speechless.
Luo Jianqing had no idea what was going on, “…”
Without being given any timeto think it over, Luo Jianqing was forced to reel back by the colossal coercion dispersed from the blade, and landed on the edge of the blade. The blade carried him to the top of the mountain at a lightning speed. However, Qin Guihe was still sitting on the branch, looking at them with a charming smile, “Who is that Fo Zi Yu Chen of Gui Yuan Sect?”
Fo Zi was surprised, then answered the call with a smile, “I am.”
The Elders of Duan Hun Sect and Bai Family weren’t expecting these two cultivators who were a lot younger than them got to the peak before them, so they all pulled a long face.
After Fo Zi stepped up, Qin Guihe seized him up and unexpectedly struck by a blade gust. The Elder of Gui Yuan Sect immediately rushed in front of Fo Zi, keeping him away from the attack, but the young monk was still hit by a wisp of it.
Groaning, Fo Zi felt something was wrong with his body.
Bursting out a laughter, Qin Guihe said, “I dislike you. Now that I’ve sealed your Spiritual Power, you’d better climb the hill without it!”

Fifteen minutes passed, and the whole team finally reached the top of the mountain. Luo Jianqing’s been waiting for them for a while.
Climbing hills was no hard thing for cultivators. Fo Zi was the only one who sweated a little because his Spiritual Power was sealed, but he didn’t take it as a big deal. As soon as he arrived at the peak, the Fiend Seal in his vein disappeared automatically, which didn’t hurt him at all. Like Qin Guihe said, there was no other particular reason, just because he ‘disliked’ Fo Zi.
Tremendous amount of coercion was wafting among the mountain top. Qin Guihe was leaning against the gate, smiling, looking at them, while talking with Luo Jianqing at the same time.
Actually, Luo Jianqing had been badgered by Qin Guihe for a long time before they arrived. The Dharma Protector asked a ton of questions, such as Luo Jianqing’s age, favorite snack, etc. If he didn’t know that Qin Guihe had already got a couple cultivator, Luo Jianqing almost considered him as another pursuer.
At last, they all made it to the gate. Relieved, Luo Jianqing hurried back to the team.
Smiling, Qin Guihe fixed his eyes on Luo Jianqing for a while till he looked elsewhere. “So, since you come here for his birthday, drop your presents here and you are free to leave.”
His words totally irritated Duan Hun Sect’s Elder, who flicked his sleeves and said, “Qin Guihe! Show some respect!”
Qin Junhe couldn’t care less about the warning, so he just ignored the Elder, “What? You are reluctant to give present? Fine, the exit is right there. You can leave right now.”
“You!”
“That’s enough, Guihe. Stop your naughty tricks.” A husky voice reached their ears from the Fiend Palace. Looking up, Luo Jianqing saw a tall, handsome guy walking toward them. The man dressed in total black, who said, “Since you come here for the Exalt’s birthday, then come on in. I will arrange chambers for you so that you can have a rest.”
Gui Yi, the Duan Hun Sect’s Elder, nodded in satisfaction, “That’s more like it.”
Qin Guihe sneered, “What else do you want? Private massage service? Go find yourself a place on the street.”
Gui Yi, “Shut up!”
Anyway, they finally got into the Fiend Palace. That Fiend Cultivator who dressed in black arranged rooms for every one of them respectively but left Luo Jianqing alone for the last one. He led Luo Jianqing to the inner Palace. They walked for a long time and there seemed like no destination. When Luo Jianqing was about to ask questions, his guide stopped beside a door and turned to face him, “There it is. Please take a rest.”
Luo Jianqing frowned in suspicion, “It seems to be far away from my companions’.”
The man replied, “Your assigned room is here.”
Smiling, Qin Guihe repeated the sentence, “Yep, your room is right here.”
Luo Jianqing kept quiet for a while before he finally asked, “Sir, may I ask, are you treating me differently because I am Mo Qiu’s friend?”
Qin Guihe widened his eyes, pretending to be surprised, “Who is Mo Qiu? What are you talking about? I don’t know this guy.”
Seeinghis reaction, Luo Jianqing’s mouth-tip twitched, finally understood what was going on.
It seemed that Mo Qiu held a quite prominent position at the Fiend Palace, Luo Jianqing thought, not to mention that day he reprimanded the disciple of the Fiend Exalt, he could even give orders to the Dharma Palas. Thinking about this, Luo Jianqing finally relieved.
Even though he strongly disagreed with Fo Zi’s guess, there was a voice inside him telling him that the possibility was not completely zero.
