Trying to operate his Spiritual Power to prove him wrong, Luo Jianqing immediately realized that the Spiritual Power inside his body was locked at every single acupoint. They were unable to be operated, not to mention to use them for defense. The power which locked up his Spiritual Power wasn’t hurting him either, given the fact that it allowed Luo Jianqing to cultivate in order to gain Spiritual Power from the nature, as long as he was not trying to use these Spiritual Power.

Vigilantly, Luo Jianqing slowed down and concealed his presence.
Normally, cultivators at their level of cultivation would pay no attention to such small wards like these. The person who set up the wards wouldn’t notice anything even if they step right into the ward. This time, however, Xuan Lingzi bent down and picked up several pieces of stone.
Xuan Lingzi said, “Jianqing, you are not good at dissembling ward nor forging pills or items. Now that you have me to back you up, but I can’t stay by your side every single second. Today, what lay in front of us are a set of the simplest First-Level Ward. Try to dissemble it, to gain some experience on ward setting.”
Smiling, Luo Jianqing said yes.
The disciple would seldom wear black, but he did so today for their mission in the darkness. The garment in complete black gave Luo Jianqing’s skin a more pale-like lustrous color.
