The Thirteen Realms of Sea were what separated the Demon Realm from the Thirty-Six States. After crossing the vast thirteen seas, one could reach the border of the Fiend Realm. Most of the Demon Beasts were living in the Demon Realm, and there were many Demon Beasts roaming and lurking in the Thirteen Realms of Sea as well.
Though Xuan Lingzi broke the contract that day, there wasn’t much change in the Demon Realm.

In a grand palace decorated in pure black, a coquettish girl was lying on a throne, chuckling, and watching her subordinates standing servilely beneath. Yin Ji wore an emerald dress made of gauzy, and had a small anklet around her ankle. Along with her movement, the anklet tinkled pleasantly, attracting eyes to be fixed on her jade-like slender ankle.
“So, little Qianqiu hasn’t left the Fiend Palace for years?”
Yin Ji’s lustful voice echoed in the grand palace.
Lured by her voice, a Demon Beast in the palace was aroused, and then he answered with a bow, “Yes, Exalt. I am the Twelfth Master of the Thirteen Realms of Seas, and my territory was connected with the Fiend Realm, so I’ve been keeping an eye on him. He hasn’t showed up in the Fiend Realm for dozens of years. The Master of the Twelfth Realm of Sea answered, “His newly recruited disciple is named Mo Qiu, who came out of nowhere and suddenly showed up in Fiend Palace. The Fiend Exalt accepted him as his disciple. However, that lad was a vigilant one. No one could catch his whereabouts. My agent in the Fiend Palace couldn’t get near him, but we do know that Mo Qiu’s status in the Fiend Palace is incredibly high.”
Intrigued, Yin Ji laughed, “That’s quite interesting. There is not much time left for our little Qianqiu. What do a moribund need disciples for? Keep a close eye on his two disciples. We might be able to find his weakness.”
Accepting the mission immediately, the Master of the Twelfth Realm of Sea still stood in the palace as if he was waiting for something.
Noticing it, Yin Ji smiled and asked, “Why are you still here?”
Taking a glance at her, the Master of the Twelfth Realm of Sea didn’t say anything.
Looking at him, Yin Ji was amused. Her attractive eyes were glowing like ignis fatuus. Time seemed to have been frozen. When the Master of the Twelfth Realm of Sea plucked up enough courage to say something, Yin Ji’s pair of slender legs suddenly transformed into a serpent tail, knocking the bold male in the air.

Inside the grand palace, the tip of that emerald serpent tail drew a casual curve in the air and then turned back into a pair of fair and slender legs. Leaning on the throne, Yin Ji was fiddling a wisp of her hair. She pondered while squinting her eyes:
“It has been years since Mo Qianqiu went for seclusion, but now he becomes a Master of two disciples.”
“The reason why Xuan Lingzi left Tai Hua Mountain and broke the contract was that he was desperate to save his disciple in the Fiend Realm.”

When the Left Dharmapala Qin Guihe learned the news, he was immediately enraged and unsheathed his sword. A voice in his head was urging him to dash to the Tai Hua Mountain and give that selfish Xuan Lingzi a lesson.
Guarding the border separating Thirty-Six States and the Demon Realm, the Fiend Palace had kept the states from the intrusion of countless Demon Beasts. They had all the reason to be mad with Xuan Lingzi who suddenly broke the contract.

Mo Qiu chuckled in a hoarse voice, “Am I afraid of them?”
Qin Guihe insisted, “Exalt!”
