Within three days, the demon had conquered most of the Yun State, where human could only retreat to the southmost capital of the state and defend it to the last. The cultivators of Gui Yuan Sect arrived first. Three hundred of them sat upright on the tower over the city gate, chanting the Diamond Sutra. The chanting of scriptures echoed between Earth and Heaven, forming a solid array that blocked a hundred thousand demon armies, making them unable to move forward.
The war fell into a stalemate.
Besides the frontline in the Yun State, outside the Chong Teng Mountain Range in the Cen State, Ming State and Zhao State, human and demon were about to start a major battle. The Towering Ocean Breaking was a strong demons’ line. Even if five of the nine remaining late-stage Da Sheng Period cultivators had come here, they still couldn’t break the array.
As three days passed, the winding Chong Teng Mountain Range was not high enough to stem the strong smell of blood. Human cultivators witnessed demons killed their own members and threw their bodies into the array point to maintain the its operation. The bodies piled up into a mountain, and their resentments, flesh, blood and karma became the nourishment of the array.
The Chief Master Fei Hua Sect gritted her teeth and said, “If Lady Feng Si were there, they couldn’t have made it!”
The top array master in this world was not Yin Ji, nor Xuan Lingzi or Mo Qianqiu. The Supreme Master of the Fei Hua Sect, Lady Feng Si, was the best of the best. One hundred and twenty years ago, she successfully broke the Towering Ocean Breaking Array set up by Yin Ji, who was thus captured and almost fell.
However, there was no if in this world.
Another two days later, the last two masters of Tai Hua Mountain reached the Cen State, except Sir Hao Xingzi who remined behind to defend the Tai Hua Mountain. In front of them were the demon armies of the Fifth Ocean and Sixth Ocean, and then to the north was the Chong Cheng Mountain Range, where the Towering Ocean Breaking Array was set up.
Human was divided into two parts by demon armies. They were separated by the huge mountain, unable to join each other.

Most of the Fiend Cultivators had left the Fiend Realm to investigate the collapse of the Ku Mountain, while most of the human masters were also trapped there. If that situation continued, before the demon lost the Towering Ocean Breaking Array, human had already lost the Yun State and the Fiend Realm.
As they were at a loss and stranded, Sir Huo Mingzi got a message. He called cultivators together and said, “Although we are divided by the mountain range now and unable to communicate with cultivators outside, I remember that I made an instrument for my disciple. The life lantern in our Tai Hua Mountain is quite different with the life flower in your Fei Hua Sect. A cultivator above the Tribulation Passage can leave the last message with her life flower before death, am I right?”
The Chief Master of the Fei Hua Sect nodded, “Exactly, that’s our secret skill.”
Sir Huo Mingzi hit the point directly, “I made a jade tablet for my disciple once. When he encounters danger, the tablet will break itself and tell me who wants to do harm to my disciple. However, several days ago, my disciple crumbed it himself and sent me an important message.”
Luo Jianqing hurriedly asked, “Why did Xiu Hen say?”
Sir Huo Mingzi said, “When I heard the disaster of the Yun State, Sir Hao Xingzi allowed my fellow younger brothers to take a secret instrument of the Tai Hua Mountain here. My fellow cultivators, it’s not an appropriate time now to tell you what this instrument is, but I an assure you that it might have the ability to break the Towering Ocean Break Array!”
This message made everyone thrilled.
“Then you’d better let the fellow cultivators in the south break the array immediately, what are you waiting for?”
“Yeah, since Wen Longzi and Zhao Xianzi of the Tai Hua Mountain have such a powerful instrument, you should let them break the array now!”
Seeing the hesitating face of Huo Mingzi, the Supreme Master of the Jian Xiao Sect said, “Don’t worry, we were not that concerted in the past, that’s true, but we still have a sense of proportion about all this. The Shen Jian Sect will never slaver after the secret instrument of the Tai Hua mountain!”
The Chief Master of the Fei Hua Sect also said, “That’s right. We Fei Hua Sect also swear that we will never encroach on the secret instrument of the Tai Hua Moutnain.”
“The Gui Yuan Sect can also swear.”
“So does the Yun’s Family.”

At last, only the Supreme Master of Bai’s Family finally agreed with a strange look, “I can also assure you that”. Now only the Duan Hun Sect hadn’t expressed taken his stand. The Supreme Master of the Duan Hun Sect lowered his head, and his wrinkled face was covered by shadow.
Sir Huo Mingzi glanced at the Supreme Master Gui Yan. He didn’t think too much about it but made an obedience and said, “I am not worrying about it, but…I’m afraid that Wen Longzi and Zhao Xianzi might not be able to use it.”
The crowd burst into an uproar.

Huo Mingzi turned around and fixed his serious eyes on the handsome cultivator in the corner.
Luo Jianqing slightly baffled as everyone here shifted their eyes on him. He looked at Huo Mingzi with great shock, while the latter just sighed and said, “Jianqing, only you can use that instrument by mobilizing the power of True Nine-Petaled Lotus Record!”
That night, three black figures flashed through the sky into the Chong Teng Mountain Range.
Surprisingly, when they entered the Towering Ocean Breaking Array, it just shook a little bit, without any other unusualness. They flew ahead fast in the narrow valleys or even among the body mountain of dead demons to hid themselves in the darkness and avoid the demon patrols.
Entering the Towering Ocean Tower was the first step; avoiding the demon was the second step, and the final step was to leave the array.
The human cultivators in the Chong State were almost top masters, yet even for them, getting through the array was almost impossible. However, the array had a little flaw, but by no means a flaw-in face of powerful rival, it got more powerful; in face of weak rival, it got weaker.
