Yet another day of military training ended.
The students who were in formation jumped excitedly when the instructor dismissed them.
The hard times weren’t over yet but once again a day had passed. At least that day’s suffering was over.
The boring training under the scorching sun made time go by ever so slowly.
The exhausted students were excited and cheerful at the thought of eating a lot and spending their time freely later. They could even lie on their beds to relax their sore bodies.
The instructor was considered lenient that day as he announced the dismissal at half past three. How could they not be happy?
“Hey, bros. Let’s go out and have a meal later. I’ll treat you.” Cao Jianhui spoke to Luo Ziling, Wu Longjiang, and Li Fuming. “I’m exhausted. I think I am slimmer these days. I must eat well today. Order whatever you want to eat later.”
Luo Ziling agreed immediately. He was starving and was craving a lot.
Li Fuming and Wu Longjiang didn’t have objections either. They were happy to have free meals provided by Cao Jianhui.
Several friendships had been formed through the hardship of military training. While this bunch was talking about having seafood later, a formidable-looking girl in military uniform came to the training site.
The male freshmen of the clinical medicine course got excited at the sight of the gorgeous girl.

However, Luo Ziling ignored her. In fact, her words spurred him on and he continued running, as swiftly as he could. Soon, he disappeared from the crowd’s sight.
Ouyang Huihui stomped angrily and cursed Luo Ziling as she couldn’t reach him and didn’t know where he was heading to.
The scene of Ouyang Huihui yelling at and chasing after an escaping Luo Ziling was a sight to behold, capturing everyone’s attention.
“Crap. What the hell is happening?”
“Don’t tell me this tall beauty is wooing Luo Ziling?”
“Or is she approaching him because he’s not taking responsibility after sleeping with her?”
“Or…”
In an instant, several assumptions were spread by the students.
Cao Jianhui ran up to Ouyang Huihui from behind and asked, “Hey beautiful, why are you looking for our boss?”
He recognized her. The previous incident had not affected his good impression of Ouyang Huihui. After all, wanting the attention of a beautiful woman was stronger than anything else.

The furious Ouyang Huihui turned her head angrily and roared rudely tat Cao Jianhui, “It’s none of your business!”
“Hey, we’ve actually met before. Three days before, I came to ask for your phone number but your admirer looked like he wanted to beat me up.” Cao Jianhui introduced himself and chuckled. “I’m Luo Ziling’s roommate. What can he do for you?”
Ouyang Huihui then recognized Cao Jianhui. Her tone was softer. “There’s an important matter. Could you lead me to him?”
“He should be taking a shower in the dorm. How about I lead you to the room?” Cao Jianhui shamelessly sold Luo Ziling out to the pretty girl.
“Great!” Ouyang Huihui didn’t hesitate and instructed Cao Jianhui to lead her to their dorm to look for Luo Ziling.
Luo Ziling, who had escaped and taken a shower before his roommates returned, was stunned when he came out from the bathroom and saw Ouyang Huihui and Cao Jianhui.
He glared at Cao Jianhui for betraying him because of the pretty girl. Luo Ziling dragged Ouyang Huihui out of the room despite only wearing slippers.
“What’s up?” He asked her brusquely.
“You’re hurting me,” she said angrily as she wriggled her wrist loose from his grasp. “Quickly get dressed and follow me.”
“Why are we going?” Luo Ziling was suddenly alert.
“You’ll know when we arrive. Hurry up and get dressed. I’ll be waiting for you at the door.”
“No!” Luo Ziling rejected her outright. He had no doubt that she wanted to bring him somewhere to get revenge on him.
Other than revenge, would this woman have any other reason to look for him?
She was definitely not treating him to dinner, that’s for sure.
“Are you going or not?!” Ouyang Huihui was furious. She hadn’t expected him to not give her any face.
“Nope,” Luo Ziling said again before walking into the bedroom and shutting the door.
Cao Jianhui was surprised with how coldly Luo Ziling treated Ouyang Huihui.
He could tell there was a strange relationship between Luo Ziling and the beautiful girl named Ouyang Huihui. Were they quarrelsome lovers?
As Luo Ziling’s best friend, he had to do something for Luo Ziling’s “happiness”. He thought it was his duty.
He had originally wanted to pursue Ouyang Huihui but had since changed his mind when he saw the “friendship” between Ouyang Huihui and Luo Ziling.

He was worried about Luo Ziling’s IQ and EQ. He really wanted to choke him to death as Luo Ziling had not given any face to the rich beautiful girl who had come to his room.
He had thought that this beautiful girl was a mistress of a rich man the other day. Apparently, she was a freshman too.
How could her family background be simple as she was able to drive a limited edition Ferrari?
She was like a golden phoenix[1]. He had to grasp the chance. Cao Jianhui was extremely distressed seeing Luo Ziling’s insensitive nature.

Luo Ziling changed his mind, looking at Cao Jianhui who was winking at him non-stop and Ouyang Huihui who looked as furious as a tigress.
