Vivian stood there for a moment, doubt etched on her face as she weighed her options. She was not used to fighting other players, and the idea of going up against a skilled opponent was daunting.
But finally, after a moment of hesitation, she nodded her head. “All right,” she said, her voice firm and determined.
Shea, who had been watching Vivian closely, turned to her with a concerned look. “Are you sure about this?” she asked, her voice low and filled with worry. “There’s no rule that says she can choose her opponent.”
Vivian smiled at her. Her expression was filled with a mix of nerves and excitement. “I’m sure of it,” she said. “I want to prove myself.”
Allen, who had been watching the exchange with a calm expression, nodded his head in approval. Based on Kafra’s information, he knew that she was an expert in VR simulation games. Her reflexes were unmatched, and he believed that she had the potential to be a powerful fighter in this game.
So, the problem was only her confidence and how she could use her skills efficiently.
Vivian glanced at Allen for a moment before she pulled out her bow, she felt her heart rate quicken.

Rose17 charged toward Vivian, she moved with a fluid grace that was both beautiful and deadly. Her sword glinted as she closed in, determined to shorten the distance between herself and her opponent.
Vivian, on the other hand, knew that she needed to keep her distance. She backpedaled quickly, her feet moving nimbly over the uneven terrain as she aimed her bow at Rose17.
With a deep breath, Vivian released her arrow, the sharp twang of the bowstring filling the air. She watched with bated breath as it soared towards Rose17, only to see it deflected by the swordsman’s swift and precise movements.
The battle between Vivian and Rose17 continued, Vivian’s nerves were on high alert. She kept dodging and maneuvering her way around Rose17’s sword strikes, trying to keep her distance while she shot her arrows. Her focus was unwavering as she took aim, pulling back the string of her bow with precision and releasing it, sending an arrow flying toward Rose17.
Rose17, on the other hand, was relentless in her pursuit of Vivian. She charged towards her with her sword raised, determined to shorten the distance and take down her opponent. But no matter how hard she tried, Vivian always seemed to be just out of her reach, gracefully evading her attacks.

‘Repel!’ Vivian shot an arrow that was enveloped in wind magic. The arrow struck Rose17’s sword with a force that sent her staggering back.
Rose17 was caught off guard by Vivian’s sudden use of her skill. She had been so focused on trying to close the distance between them that she didn’t anticipate this move. The wind magic enveloped the arrow, creating a gust of wind that struck Rose17’s sword. The impact was so strong that it pushed her back.
Rose17 flinched and was thrown backward. Even though she was still on her feet, she realized that was the end of the fight.
Vivian drew her bow and aimed at Rose17, her fingers tightly gripping the bowstring. With fierce determination, she prepared to unleash her strongest attack. She had been waiting for this moment, biding her time until the perfect opportunity presented itself.
‘Arrow Strike.’
Without hesitation, Vivian let loose two arrows that were enveloped in a blinding aura of light. The arrows soared through the air, their deadly tips aimed straight at Rose17’s chest.
The swordsman tried to block the attack with her sword, but it was too late. The arrows struck true, piercing through Rose17’s body and plunging deep into her flesh.

Rose17’s health bar rapidly decreased. She tried to block the arrows with her sword, but the wounds were too severe. The pain was overwhelming, and her vision began to blur as her HP bar reached zero.
A second later, the sound of Rose17’s body hitting the ground echoed through the cave.

Her eyes were sparkling, and her smile was radiant as she turned to Allen, who was beaming with pride. It was weird since she found his approval meant everything to her. No… She wanted to see his face painted with pride because of her. She wanted his recognition.
“I won!” Vivian exclaimed, the thrill of victory coursing through her veins. She was beaming with excitement, her eyes shining with joy.
Allen’s smile widened, and he congratulated her on her victory. “Congratulations,” he said, his voice laced with admiration. “You fought well,” he complimented her. Somehow, her joy made him happy.
