Villain Ch 69. Headless Horse
Allen used his Demonic Lance to attack the Ghouls. Since he just raised the skill, fifteen black lances launched at the monsters. The black lances pierced through the ghouls’ flesh, causing them to writhe in pain. Their eyes glowed red, and they let out a terrible screech that echoed through the tower.
Meanwhile, Vivian and Zoe had split up, each taking a different route to flank the ghouls from different angles. Vivian had her whip at the ready, flicking it with expert precision to keep the ghouls at bay. Zoe, on the other hand, had her tentacles at the ready. As she closed in on the ghouls, she lashed out with her appendages, striking them with deadly force.
The ghouls were taken aback by the sudden assault, but they were quick to recover. They lunged at the group with renewed vigor, their sharp claws and teeth gleaming in the dim light.
Zoe quickly took advantage of the situation and launched her tentacles towards the first Ghoul. The tentacles were like a flurry of deadly whips, wrapping around the monster’s legs and causing it to lose balance. With a swift motion, Zoe pulled the Ghoul upward and slammed it onto the ground. The tentacles continued to rain down blows on the monster, striking it with unparalleled force and speed.
Meanwhile, Vivian expertly wielded her whip and danced around the second Ghoul. She moved with grace and agility, her whip creating deep cuts on the monster’s flesh with each strike. As the Ghoul put their attention to them, Allen lunged forward the second Ghoul, his Demonic Claw gleaming in the flickering torchlight. With a swift movement, he evaded its clumsy attack and darted around behind it, ready to strike.
He raised his Demonic Claw high, the claw gleaming in the darkness, and with a fierce shout, he plunged it deep into the Ghoul’s back. The creature howled in agony as the blade pierced its chest, dealing critical damage and stopping it in its tracks.
For a moment, the Ghoul’s attention was entirely on Allen. It snarled and snapped its jaws, thrashing around in a futile attempt to shake off the pain. He quickly unplugged his Demonic Claw and retreated a safe distance away, watching as Vivian continued to lash out at the creature with deadly precision.
She swung her whip repeatedly and quickly. The Ghoul’s HP bar dropped drastically. Allen could see the creature’s movements slowing, its limbs becoming sluggish and uncoordinated. He knew that Vivian was getting close to delivering the final blow.
Then he swiftly turned around and stopped in his tracks, his Demonic Claw at the ready for the first Ghoul. The Ghoul roared and rolled violently.
It was as Allen’s prediction. Zoe’s tentacles had nearly slipped loose, and the monster had quickly rolled over, trying to free itself from her grasp. The tentacles were versatile, but they were not strong enough to hold the Ghoul for long. The monster’s level was simply too high for Zoe.
Allen knew that he had to act fast. He quickly assessed the situation and saw an opening. One of the Ghoul’s ankles was exposed, and he knew that this was his chance.
Without hesitation, he stomped on the Ghoul’s ankle with all his might. The monster let out a deafening howl, but Allen didn’t stop there. With one swift movement of his Demonic Claw, he cut through the creature’s feet mercilessly, severing them from its body.
The Ghoul’s screams echoed through the dungeon, but Allen felt no mercy. With another swift movement of his Demonic Claw, he slashed at the Ghoul’s feet with merciless precision. Blood spurted from the deep gashes he had inflicted, and the Ghoul stumbled backwards, its balance was thrown off by the sudden assault.
Zoe grinned with satisfaction as she watched the Ghoul crumble to the ground. “Thanks,” she said, turning to Allen with a grateful smile. With his help, she had been able to focus solely on killing the monster without fear of it getting to her.
Allen smirked in response, his eyes still trained on Zoe. His hand swung to the other side, and in a swift motion, he unleashed fifteen black lances at the Ghoul that was already closing in on Vivian. The lances flew with incredible speed, piercing the monster’s flesh and killing it instantly.

Allen and Vivian followed her gaze, their eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of movement. They saw nothing at first, but then their ears picked up a faint sound – the slow, deliberate clip-clop of hooves.
As the sound grew louder, they could feel their hearts pounding in their chests. They knew that whatever was coming towards them could be dangerous, and they had to be prepared for anything.
The source of the noise came into view. Emerging from the darkness was a monstrous creature unlike any they had ever seen before.
