“Alex? What a surprise? What are you doing here?”
Alex looked over at the woman and peered inside her house, where he saw her chubby son standing in the background with a look of fury on his face. Thus, Alex did not hesitate to admit what he heard.
“I’m just checking in. I heard shouting and became concerned. Is everything alright?”
Jung-Hyun looked a bit flustered as she looked back towards her son before returning her gaze to Alex. She made a heavy sigh, as she admitted that she was having a hard time looking after the brat.
“I would be lying if I said it was. My son refuses to clean up the mess that he made the other night, and there has also been some damage to the paint on the walls. I am trying to teach him responsibility, but he refuses to lift a finger to help his mother….”

There was a look of a pure authority in his eyes as he commanded the boy to clean up the mess he made.
“You will clean this shit up and put it back in its proper place, or there will be no dinner for you tonight! Your mother works hard to maintain this house, and looks after you, and yet you treat her in such a manner? You should be ashamed of yourself, you little brat!”
Jung-Hyun was surprised that Alex had stepped forward and tried to discipline her child on her behalf. Meanwhile, the boy was utterly furious at Alex, who he knew was being inappropriate with his mother, and immediately spoke back to him.
“Who do you think you are? You are not my father! You can’t tell me what to do?
Alex simply smirked and looked over to the boy’s mother, before assuring her that he had her back.
“You’re right, I’m not your father. It’s not my responsibility to discipline you. But your mother, on the other hand, has the authority to do so. What do you think, Mrs. Kwon, is my suggestion for punishment satisfactory?”
The boy looked at his mother with shock, as a confident smirk emerged on her face while she nodded her pretty head in agreement with Alex’s words.
“I think that is a great idea! Your heard the man! If you do not clean up this mess that you made, then I won’t be making you dinner tonight. In fact, you will have to go hungry while I share a meal with Alex here!”
The boy could not believe his ears and was quick to scream at his mother for her sudden change in behavior.
“What the hell, mom! You aren’t seriously taking this asshole’s words seriously, aren’t you?”
Jung-Hyun simply frowned and bit her lip, she had never truly disciplined her son before, as she believe that was her husband’s job, but the man was never home, and thus she looked to Alex for guidance who gave her a confident smirk and a slight nod of head. In doing so, Jung-Hyun found her resolve as she doubled down on her punishment.
“Not only will I not make you dinner! But just for that language, I am unplugging the internet for the day and confiscating all your devices. Until this house is back in proper order, you will not be able to play your games or watch tv!”
The boy gazed at his mother in disbelief, but she simply responded by following through with her threats. She quickly unplugged the internet and confiscated the boy’s devices. All the while, he kicked and screamed like a toddler.
“No way! This isn’t fair! I hate you! You’re the worst. I wish I had a different mother!”

Realizing that he had been caught, Alex chuckled before revealing the truth of the matter.

“Oh, I am sure you are….”
