One of them said:,”The person mentioned by the Fifth Princess is not in our palace. Are you searching in the wrong area, perhaps?”
Lin Feilu said loudly, “Impossible! I saw her being taken away by your people with my two own eyes! Hand her over!”
She was making a lot of ruckus outside, and Consort Mei could no longer sit still inside. She covered her face with a white chiffon veil and walked out with the help of Xixiang.
