The sound of an alarm ringing out loudly echoed throughout the bedroom where a young man with strange white hair could be seen. Spittle stained the bedsheet emerging from the side of his mouth while a stupid satisfied smile laid his face.

A white-skinned young man sat inside a bathtub which revealead small bursts of steam occasionally.
Around him were three half-naked ladies with a body that would make the most disciplined of ancient monks swallow a spittle due to temptation.
Two of them were behind him, one gently kneading his back muscles, and one massaging his bones extremely softly, while in front of him was the third lady who had a plate filled with strawberries in her right hand with a juice box in the other hands.
“Eat just one more bite young master…” The melodic voice of the lady echoed out to him as the boy opened his big mouth and took in the strawberry before sucking a straw of juice and laying back in the tub with a satisfied expression.
“How are you feeling young master?” The lady behind him asked as she gently kneaded his back muscles.
“Heavenly, simply heavenly…” The boy said with a satisfied smile.
“Young master, if this goes on, you might end up missing the event…”
“Ahha, what event? You all forget it. Don’t worry at all…”
“But young master, you might lose your first ranking position…”
“Don’t worry. Let the fool take it. It doesn’t matter…”
“Young master, can I lean in closer…” One of the ladies behind said with smiling lustfully.
“Of course…” The boy’s hand wrapped around her waist feeling the softness when suddenly he felt a stinging pain on his wrist.
“What the?” The young man quickly turned to look at the lady but what he saw was a dark-colored anaconda snake with the head clamping on his wrist.
He reflexively jumped backward as his head slammed on the bathtub.
The gigantic anaconda slithered with speed toward him as the boy screamed out in fear..

Zeras jumped up from his bed in shock as he screamed out…
“Get it away, Damn snake…” “Uh?”. Zeras looked around the room as he checked his wrist and saw the crazily vibrating watch.
Looking at the screen, a notification could be seen…
“Tch, damn EIA. Talk about bad timing…” Zeras said with a snort as he reluctantly stood up from the bed after wiping off his spittle before heading towards the bathroom.

The New Cadets rankings battle is very popular and incredibly important in the EIA training base even among the higher EIA Cadets and instructors.
For the New Cadets, it’s a battle for a better and more comfortable setting, and increased Mana, which will lead to faster cultivation speed and also the acquisition of points that can be used for the exchange of cultivation manuals.
But for the EIA officials, it is to discover hidden Potentials and identify those who should be properly groomed.
The EIA is an organization and therefore works according to the primeval rules.

The New Cadets Arena was a circular battle stage with thousands of seats around the place that ascended higher and higher up like stairs.
On the floor of the arena, five gigantic battle stages were present, completely visible from every part of the Arena.
The Arena seats were a total of nine steps ascending into the air and farther up the battle stage.
The first two rows were the place where the Instructors and EIA Handlers sat, specifically for those responsible for organizing the effect.
The third row only contained 10 seats, made for those who are currently top ten on the rankings while a seat wasppaced right In front of the remaining nine. A strange setting made specially by the EIA themselves.
The 4th seat was for the remaining top 90, the 5th seat was a total of 100, and for the remaining 100 that made up the top 200. The 6th to 8th was for the unranked remaining New Cadets.
As for the 9th row of seats, it was the place where the second years sat, at the utmost highest row of the arena.
In just 20 minutes, the arema wasalready filled to the brim with New Cadets, the top ten on the rankings taking the favorite spot and earning the jealous gaze of those that ranked below.
But even though it was just two more minutes before the event officially began, a single seat was still present, extremely glaring in the Arena as it was the area of those in the top ten and most especially of the one ranked first.
The Arena was extremely quiet as they all waited curiously wondering why the center of attention wasn’t even here yet, while Quinn who sat down couldn’t help cursing beneath his breath as he tapped on his watch continuously sending thousands of notifications.
“Tch, stupid idiot. Coming late at this type of event. He’ll create a bad image to all the EIA officials and Instructors.” “I know we’re all expectant for the event to begin but rest assured it will begin soon in just a minute more…” One of the EIA officials said to the entire group as he tried nullifying the slight irritation and heaviness that was present in the air.
Just as the official announced, the Arena gates suddenly creaked open as a young man dressed in an EIA uniform appeared, drawing the attention of every living soul that was present.

He stood at a height of 1.9 meters, a very handsome face, perhaps too handsome for a boy while his dark hair gently danced to the wind, part of it covering the left part of his eyes revealing only his piercing right blue eyes.
The boy’s gaze scanned through the entire Arena noticing the Officials at the front of the seat and the empty seat In front of the top ten.
His gaze immediately narrow as he walked towards the seat not even looking at the other cadets in the remaining rows and the second years sitting in the last row; he walked forward, every step of his ringing clearly through the entire arena.
But although he was stared by by more than 800 eyes, his footsteps were gentle and not at all frantic or hurried as he climbed up calmly up the stairs arriving at the front of the top ten before taking his rightful place at the front of all top ten.
The young man raised his watch as he looked at it before saying a word that made all the EIA officials almost puke out blood.
“Phew, still 30 seconds left. I guess I still made it…”
