“Welcome everyone to the New Cadet’s Rankings Battle Event.” One of the Event Handlers, a tall man with ruby-colored eyes and long red hair said, his eyes scanning through the arena.
“As you might have already known, the New Cadets Rankings as its name suggests are only for the new Cadets and it is organized to ensure only the best and most qualified New Cadets take the best treatment.
The total number of New Cadets for this year is a total of 400 which also qualifies for a total of 400 dorm rooms.
The past 200 dorm rooms, belonging to New the lowest New cadets contain only 20% Mana concentration.
Those in the top 200 rankings possess higher Mana concentration, with the lower top 100 possessing 50%Mana Concentration. While the upper top 90 possess 70% Mana Concentration. Those of the top ten possess 80% Mana Concentration while the number one cadets had access to 100% Mana Concentration.

The official said his eye looking at Zeras causing most of the New Cadets to look towards him but Zeras only had a deadpan expression on his face.
“The way the rankings are chosen In the first place is through the Dimensional Tower which isn’t necessarily fair as some participants can be given a trial in the area where they are the weakest.
This had allowed some people to enjoy benefits which they are unworthy of…” The official said drawing the nod of the audience.
It was true the Dimensional Tower was truly unpredictable. The Trials were different and tested different areas. Those who failed the trial don’t necessarily mean they’re any weaker than those who passed. Only that they have low talents.
“That was why this Event was set up. Here, higher benefits will be given mainly due to the clear combat and reasoning ability of each of the participants. There would be no cheating or unpredictability, and only the strong would survive.
Of course, there are other benefits apart from just Mana Concentration as if you display exceptional combat abilities and manage to catch the eye of one of the Instructors, then you’ll gain even more benefits such as having a personal expert put you through on your journey of cultivation which would perhaps be more than whatever benefit you’ll ever obtain.
Therefore without much ado, The New Cadets Rankings Battles will now begin…” The clear voice of the EIA official rang out powerfully through the Arena as all the participants felt their hearts pounding in anticipation while some just sat completely emotionless as if the battle had nothing to do with them.
“The Rules of the Events…” Officer 2 began as he opened a scroll and began reading.
The first explanation is the difference between Win And Lose.
Firstly, ways to win. The first meaning of win, completely knocking your opponents out. That’s the major way of winning in this event.
The second way is for your opponent to call off the match by jumping out of the battle stage. If they are still on the battle stage, then a winner has yet to be found and the battle can keep going…”
‘How nice of you…’Zeras thought to himself on hearing the second way but his expression was just completely plain. He knew there was more than one way to kill somebody and ensure they didn’t even move a single step.
Having to jump out of the battle ring to surrender just made the battle ten times more brutal.
“The third way is for one of the Officials to stop the battle and declare a winner. Please note, the Officials’ decisions are final, and once told to stop, anyone attacking after that means an automatic loss…”Official 2 warned seriously, his words ringing clearly through the entire arena and into the ears of the Cadets.

One, getting knocked out. Two, Exiting the battle stage in any form. Three, Disobeying the Officials, an automatic failure…” The stout officer read the rules, explaining them to be as clear as day.
“With the rules clearly explained. Now on a side note, you can all go completely out in this battle and fight with everything you’ve got.
Even completely breaking the opponent’s hand bone is allowed as we have a healing genetic Ability User here who can instantly cure all battle defects, so feel free to go wild…” Handler 3 said causing some cadets to smile sinisterly within them.
“Finally, you don’t need to worry about your opponent dying. Handler 5 can quickly identify an attack that will be beyond lethal and would be able to get you out of the way before you can halfway blink your eyes…” The Handler said as he looked at one of the officials at the sides lines who had his eyes closed and both hands at the back of his head but lazily opened them looking at the Handler who called his name and at the New cadets before closing his eyes once again, muttering beneath his breath:
“Why is the world so slow?”
“With all that said, Let the Preliminaries begin.
In the Preliminaries, a total of 300 of you will be fighting, excluding only those in the top 100.
The rules are simple, Last Long…
The last person to fall will now be a new rank 101, the personal to fall before that will be 102, and so on…” The cadets immediately raised an eyebrow upon hearing that as a sinister smile appeared on the Handler’s face.
“Yes as the smart one among you can already guess, this is a royal rumble. A royal rumble of time!!!
Rank 101 to rank 200 will then be able to challenge the top 100 on the rankings…
Without further ado, let’s begin immediately…
The Handler suddenly pressed some buttons on his watch as the separate battle stages suddenly merged becoming a single gigantic battle stage that extended into the distance.
One of the Handlers looked towards the New Cadets as his eyes suddenly flared like light bulbs causing almost all the cadets to be drawn to it and the next second, he clapped.

300 Cadets immediately disappeared from where they stood in that split second and the next they were in the battle stage.
“What control of Spatial Manipulation..” Quinn almost screamed out in shock as the majority of the Cadets were also genuinely shocked by the Handler’s ability.
Transporting 300 people in a split second with a single clap.
“3…2…1. Go. Begin!!!
The New Cadets were still shocked speechless by the suddenness as they all just stood dumbly on the battle stage staring at each other.
Zeras smirked mockingly before properly reclining on the chair as he prepared himself for a great show.
“Hey, what the hell man?” The shocked and shrill scream of a male cadet suddenly echoed as Zeras watched him flying out of the battle stage and getting disqualified immediately.
“Idiot, it’s a battle royale, not a staring contest. The one who acts first wins…”
Those words were like bombs causing the New Cadets to immediately explode.
