87 Possibility Of Illusions
Gaia looked at the young man before him her eyes narrowed as he seemed oddly familiar. The dark hair and face seemed familiar, but the aura and muscular body weren’t ringing any bells.
“Oh, it’s you…” Gaia said as she finally remembered the young man whom her grandfather asked to heal.
“Yes… It’s I Zeras, I’ve come to thank you for your help.” Zeras said as he bowed his head lightly.
“It’s nothing…”Gaia said with a voice that sounded like shooing him off.
“And if I remember correctly, you seemed more of a healer than you were a fighter the last time I saw you…” Zeras said his eyebrows furrowed in suspicion and confusion. .𝒎
“I don’t think that’s any of your business. You’ve also changed a lot since the last time I’ve seen you, you look much stronger than you were before, although the eyes can tell lies sometimes…” Gaia replied with a smirk on her face.
“Hahaha, the eyes can truly be subjected to illusions sometimes, but man’s greatest weakness is their inquisitiveness, especially for someone like you, don’t you want to check whether your eyes are telling the truth or not…” Zeras said as he stretched his right leg behind him and placed both hands forward getting into a fighting stance.
Gaia looked at Zeras in slight shock before her eyes once again regained her calmness.
“The first time I saw you, you weren’t even a cultivator yet and the last time I saw you, you just opened your Mana core… I wonder how strong you think you were now when you just saw me defeat three Peak Star rank stage robots…” Gaia said as her bow and arrow suddenly disappeared from her hands causing Zeras to raise an eyebrow.
“Don’t worry, I won’t be using my weapon…” Gaia said as she also got into a fighting stance.
“I assure you you’ll be using it real soon…” Zera’s last words were like the lighter, as they both Immediately faded away from where they were standing.

A punch slammed against a palm, and Zeras felt his palms shake a little from the force of the punch, blue he ignored that as he slapped outwards.

Another ripple exploded through the training hall as Gaia threw out a second punch at the slap and they both retreated, with Zeras moving back with 7 steps while Gaia gently moved backward by three steps and soon stopped.
“You could’ve retreated only five steps backward if only you used your fists. But you used your palms instead which I can immediately tell you are not used to, are you afraid of your ego…” Gaia asked curiously but didn’t stop for a single second as she immediately closed in on Zeras.
A punch ripped with speed towards Zeras’s head as he also threw out his arms forward, the back of his wrist immediately slammed the fist upward as Zeras took a deep breath in and threw out his right hand at Gaia’s stomach, but she was incredibly agile as she suddenly jumped and rotated before slamming a leg down on his head.
“BOOOOOM
Zeras raised both his hands above his head effectively blocking her legs as his arms suddenly bulged with power and he threw Gaia upwards.
Gaia’s eyes immediately widened as she couldn’t believe Zeras was still able to throw her entire weight which was resting on him upward and quickly struggled to balance herself midair but Zeras wouldn’t give her that chance.
Disappearing from where he stood, Zera’s leg tore out through the air, rapidly magnifying in front of Gaia as she quickly crossed her arms together.
“BOOOOOM
A figure was immediately sent spiraling backward as they skidded across the ground before coming to a stop, just a few centimeters from slamming against the wall on the other side.
Zeras stood up from his stance and looked at Gaia who had a shocked expression on her face before replying
“It’s not ego. It’s just that, only one who is ungrateful will throw punches at his benefactor…” A very shocked expression appeared on Gaia’s face as she couldn’t believe Zeras got so strong so quickly. Normally, she didn’t really focus much on strength herself and was more of a bow person, but seeing Zeras still able to match her in brute strength when he just even started his cultivation deeply shocked her.
The word of her grandfather, telling her Zeras was a talented young man couldn’t help but echo in her head, which she then shook off due to his very late cultivation. But now she couldn’t help but faintly believe there was something in her grandfather’s words.

“No. It’s not telekinesis.” Gaia said causing him to raise an eyebrow.
“Most understanding of Mana is so crude, they think it to be just the energy to make us use our genetic ability for longer times. But Mana is beyond just an energy…” Gaia said as the three arrows suddenly flared with a green light that shone brightly…
“You… you’re using your Mana to envelope the arrows and you can make them float by controlling the Mana? How is that possible…” Zeras asked shocked as he looked at the floating arrow around Gaia. Mist especially at the green Mana.
Normally it was impossible to even expel Mana from the body, and it is only mostly used to increase bodily attributes on circulation. While a powerful Attack might cause a blast of Mana, it was impossible to have fine control of that Mana as it will soon disperse. 𝘳𝘦.𝒸𝑜𝘮

Not only that she was able to control the Mana to carry the object and make it float in the air. That was simply impossible. At least, he had never heard or seen such a thing…
“As I said Mana is beyond just an energy and since it can be harnessed, how come you have never thought it could be controlled…” Gaia asked as Zeras stood there numbed.
“Of course, it’s not as easy as it sounds or everyone will suddenly be able to use Telekinesis easily. But in all things in life, there’s always an exception. Some geniuses have the talent for controlling and even harnessing Mana.
Some genius like me, who feel their Mana is just like their arm, and can control it as easily as using their right arm…”
Gaia said as she suddenly closed her eyes and the arrows immediately disappeared…
